In which two lost children remind a frosted soldier of a dystopian regime of a forgotten holiday found in late December.

This is my entry for hepburnettes 's Christmas Short Story Competition 2015 (along with several other wonderful judges). As well as having a theme of Christmas, this competition required the use of at least one of a long list of Wattpad campaigns. I decided to base my story on the campaign #notallareheroes which I really enjoyed experimenting with, as I got to try out working with a non-typical Christmas story style. Still, I hope this gives a little look at what I believe about Christmas and I hope you enjoy it, as I definitely enjoyed writing it!

While making no promises, I am thinking off working on something with this book over Christmas, using this short story as a prologue, but I suppose we'll see!
