Summary:
As far as accepting one's death goes, Eren Jaeger thinks he's doing pretty well. Except for the fact that he should have turned days ago. Why was his bite healing, when he had witnessed several others' turn them into the soulless monsters now consuming the streets? It doesn't help that he has been separated from everyone he could call a friend, only to be found by a mysterious group of survivors. Including one who has a personality not far off from the creatures he is trying so hard to avoid.

Notes: this fic has like...everything. it's fucking hilarious, it has an extremely thought out and unique plot, and the characterization is spot fricking on. it's not a typical zombie au. and it introduced me to some good music actually. it has its romantic moments while staying in character which is so hard to do considering it's eren and levi we're talking about.
i have so much love for this fic ugh. and the plot is moving without being forced and like it's so perfect wtf? how can ppl write this perfectly?
AND it's so good that there is now a physical copy you can buy soon. i haven't looked into it lately, but the fic isn't finished so idk when it'll be released (check their tumblr yo). it is being completed slow and steadily tho. i personally haven't read the latest chapters bc i need to reread it so no spoilers pls omg
