Silence. Me and Lucas. Over 100 horses. Yep we had finally made it to the horse stores, and you knew it because there were horses tied to posts and none of them in good condition. "So, what about you look on the left and I look on the right." Lucas says walking over to the right side of the street.
"Sounds good." I say as he disappears into the crowd. This was not going to be easy. I walk along the row slowly checking every horses coloring and markings and their body shape making sure I didn't walk past Berry. I walk up to one identical to Berry. Could it be him? The horse looks at me with knowing eyes. Was it really? There was only one way to be sure. "Kisses." He lifts his nose up touching my lip. Tears begin fill my eyes. "Berry!" I rap my arms around my horse's neck pressing them against the mud caked on his neck.
"What are you doing to my horse?" A woman with a blond bob walked up looking angry.
"He's my horse, I've been looking all over the world for him!" I try to tell her.
"Ha, ha, very funny, now I just bought this horse here and I'm bringing him back to Australia with me to be sold in auction starting at 1000 dollars.
This could not be happening! I stared in B's eyes as tears filled mine. I just found him! I couldn't lose him now! Not now. But I was going to have to suck it up and continue. Lucas looked over at me. I could tell he was hurt too.
"No, mam." He started. "I'm afraid you don't understand." She looked at him angrily. "We just paid $45,000 for this here horse. I believe the horse you bought is next to ya." She turned around a checked the tag on him.
"Okay, I bought horse 1456 and that's horse 1457. Your holding my horse." I frowned.
"Okay, well. I guess we'll be seeing ya in Australia."
God, it's not easy Finding Berry.
A/N: I'm sorry it's so short. I'm actually sick of writing it, but I decided to continue because you guys seem to love it. If you have ideas, tell me cause I'm getting tired of coming up with them.
