It was a late afternoon and I was walking home from work, when I noticed someone was following me. He wasn't to far behind me but far enough where I couldn't make out who it was. I could only see it was a guy because of what he was wearing.
I keep walking trying to look back as little as I can. Once I got to my apartment building, I walked inside and the guy followed. I ran up the stairs to try and get to my apartment as fast as I could. I played with my keys trying to find the right one. I finally found it and I was in. I was about to shut the door when he put his foot in the doorway. He opened the door and I realized it was just my loving boyfriend.
"Shit Michael, you scared me!" I said with relief in my voice.
"Sorry Bailey" Michael said with a quiet laugh.
I started to make me some cereal, but soon realized we were out of milk, so I gave my Cheerios to, Buddy, my golden retriever.
"That shouldn't hurt him, right" I said to myself.
I went upstairs to check on Bella, my baby sister. I took her out of her crib while she was sleeping and I went back downstairs. I walked over to the couch and sat down. The house was so silent it was actually relaxing. No baby crying, no dog barking, nothing but quietness.
"Hey Bay, you wanna go out for some coffee and breakfast in the morning? My treat!" Michael said out of nowhere breaking the silence.
"Sure! That would be great but I will have to bring Bella with me. I'm babysitting her while my mom is on her morning shift." I said.
"That's fine as long as she doesn't cry the whole entire time." Michael replied.
"Well she's a 6 month old baby, so I expect her to cry!" I said louder then I wanted to making Bella move a little.
"Okay well I'll see you in the morning then." Michael said planting a kiss on my cheek.
"Okay. Be safe!" I said as he closed the door.
After he left, I went back to Bella's room and put her back in her crib. She was still soundly asleep.
After I left Bella's room, I went to the bathroom to take a shower. After a few minutes in the shower, Bella starts to scream. I jump out of the shower and dried off as much as I can. I through my nightgown on with nothing underneath.
When I got to Bella's room, she was crying because one, she dropped her pacifier on the ground and two, she wanted out of her crib.
I calmed her down and put her back in her crib. I started to walk out and she started to cry again. I walked back over there and picked her up. She stopped crying instantly. I put her back and she started to cry again. I finally just gave in.
I got her, her pacifier, and her bouncer that she absolutely loves and took it to the bathroom where the water was still running.
I sat down her bouncer and then put her in it. I gave her her pacifier and then took my gown off. I got back in the shower and I actually got to finish this time.

The next morning, I woke up and made me some cereal. I ate it and then made Bella a bottle. Right when the microwave beeped, I heard Bella crying. Good thing I made her a bottle so she's not screaming while I make it.
After I gave her her bottle, it was about 2:00 am. I put her on her play mat so she would calm down and be quiet. It had all of her toys and stuff she could play with without hurting herself. After awhile of just watching her I got down there and played with her.
After about 2 hours, I got up and watched tv. Nothing was on so I decided to put on the news.
Nothing was happening so I just got up and went to my room to get my phone. I started to play fruit ninja, when I noticed the time. It was 7:00 am. I thought I would go ahead and get Bella dressed then get myself dressed also.
I got Bella ready. She was wearing her monkey onesie. After I got her ready, I put her in her crib and she started playing with her toys.
I started to get dressed when I heard my phone ring. I went to the kitchen and looked who was calling. It was Calum!
"Hey Cal" I answered cheerfully.
"Hey, um Michael just got in a car wreck. Luke and Michael were on there way home and a 18- wheeler rammed them. Meet us at the hospital!" Calum said with a shaky voice.
"Oh my gosh! Okay I'll meet you there" I said while tearing up.
I ran to my room and through on some sweatpants and a t-shirt. I grabbed Bella and I ran downstairs. When I got downstairs I called my mom while putting on my shoes.
"Hello!?" said my mom, Amy.
" Hey mom, I have Bella! I have to go to the hospital because Luke and Mickey got in a car wreck!" I answered.
" Okay! I'll meet you at the hospital. I'm leaving now." She said in a rushed voice.
"No mom, your gonna get in trouble. Just see if you can come after work. We'll be fine, I promise." I replied.
"Okay honey. I'll be there at 10:30 then." She said.
"Okay mom. I love you." I replied.
"Love you too." She said in a hushed tone.
"Okay, bye." I said.
"Bye."
With that I hung up and got in my car and started it. I was already crying really hard. It takes us about 20 minutes to get to the hospital and I felt like I couldn't drive that long without having a panic attack.
