I heard guards coming towards us as tears sprung to my face. This couldn't be happening. I didn't want to lose Tristen and marry that pig, Asher but I knew this was the end when I hear a loud boom in Tristen's direction. ~Shades of the moon Kayla

The next day I slowly open my eyes as I attempt to wake up. For some reason I hadn't heard my alarm on my phone go off so I rolled over and close my eyes again. Eventually I decide I should get up now. I pick up my phone when I notice the time on my phone was 8:10. My eyes shot wide open. Why did my alarm not go off? Stupid technology. I run over to my bathroom going as quick as I could to get ready for the day. "This is not happening. This is not happening." I say panting and keep repeating to myself over and over again. I wonder why I had over slept and then I remembered my dream.

I was in Wynvernholt with Tristen (fictional Tristen not real Tristen). We were wandering around and we were in love. He then asked me to marry him and I was about to say yes until I woke up.  Why can't dreams be reality? Well besides nightmares. That would be a horrible reality. It was a lovely dream If only it wasn't ruined by stupid school. I must be a deeper sleeper than I thought.

I gallop over to my closet as I snatch some clothes not really paying attention to what I had decided to wear. I think I saw some plaid in the mix. Today was not a day I would look good. Maybe I'd look hot but in a hot mess kind of way. I throw the clothes on and head down the stairs to the kitchen. I grab a protein bar before grabbing my backpack and running to the bus stop.

The bus soon comes to a halt as I get on and I see Tristen. I sit a couple seats behind him then I see a girl behind him pop up. "So Tristen, do you have a girlfriend?" the girl asked.

'Someone's desperate," I thought to myself. I recognize the girl as Holly Kingston. Holly was one of those popular girls and she was very rude. She was friends with Claudia and David and the rest of that friend group. She has always been a flirt. I swear, she flirts with every guy she sees. Even her friends.

Tristen shakes his head biting his lip. "I used to have a girlfriend but we broke up." He says sadly with a frown.

I frown at him.

He glances back at me and sees I'm eavesdropping on the conversation. Oops. He got up from his seat and he walks over to sit next to me. He leans in close and whispers in my ear.

"You might want to finish buttoning up your shirt." He whispers.

His breath by my ear gives me shivers but then I notice what he said and nod blushing like crazy. I button up my plaid shirt. That's embarrassing.

"Nothing to worry about dear." He murmers softly.

"I am not your-" I start to say but then the bus stops. Tristen and I exited the bus and went to our lockers. Tristen and I had homeroom together but by the time I got there I had forgot about it.

Many hours passed. Tristen and I had hardly talked all day which happens.

What concerned me was when I tune out my classes, my thoughts immediately go to him. Oh heck no.

Soon enough lunch arrives and I couldn't be more grateful for a break from this prison. Science class was too much on my brain. We were learning about my toes...wait that's not right. Okay maybe I should talk to my science teacher sometime. I swear I heard her talking about mi...tois. Mitosis is what we were learning about which was...I don't know. Science is it's own language.
