*the next morning*

Cole POV
The guys and I woke up in a forest, lying in the cold ground and worst of all we were middle of a deep forest!!!

Oh yeah, yesterday we transformed!!!

After I woke up the guys, we started walking towards a direction. We were so lost as we didn't know how to exit. Luckily we got out by Dalton's bonus power, the extreme smell.

When we got home, the door was wide-opened and on the couch, Madi and Mary were sleeping soundlessly. Slowly we made our way to our respectively room noiselessly and changed into pyjamas. Suddenly I heard footsteps which were coming towards my room. I quickly hopped in my bed and covered myself with the blanket till the top. Then I closed my eyes. Little by little I heard people talking and I guessed it was Mary. She whispered "I'm glad you're back home safe and sound Cole" with a sob followed behind her words, making my heart scatter into small pieces. It was never my intention to hurt her!! NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS!! After some instant, I heard Dalton's voice and slowly everyone's voice. So I opened my door and went downstairs for breakfast with my inside howling of sadness. Arriving in the kitchen, the boys gave me a morning head and said good morning in a sleepy voice to everyone in the kitchen. While the girls, they were staring at us in anger. After some awkward minutes of silence, I asked them "what happened? Why are you both so grumpy this morning??"

Just then Mary glared at me angrily and said furiously as if she could stab us

- Do you guys know how worried Madi and I were yesterday!! You all just disappeared from the ball without any explanation and when I tried to call you, you didn't pick your damn phone.

Then Madi added, still in the same furious tone

- And when we both arrived here, you all weren't here. So we searched for you and then, stayed here all night waiting for you guys to come but you didn't. This morning when we checked in your rooms, you were here. Now I'm asking you this "where were you all last night?"

The guys and I looked at each other and gulped loudly before turning to look at Mary. I didn't want to lie to her but she couldn't know the truth yet.

- we were at the park and we fell asleep there as we were so drunk last night!

The guys nodded wryly at my words but Mary and Madi were even more angry now.

- you liars, we checked at the park and you weren't there!!

Gabe was about to say something but Madi stopped him from talking and same thing happened with Dalton and Mary.

After signing painfully, Mary said sadly

- I knew I should have listened to the other girls at school. You guys were never worthy of our trust. All this time, you faked our relationship. I SHOULD HAVE NEVER TALK TO YOU AT FIRST. I HATE YOU ALL!!

Madi nodded along with her and they both left, leaving us speechless.

I can't believe it! Did my GIRL just left me and said SHE HATES ME!!

I was so much shocked that I backed up and hit against the counter, making some plates fell down and cracking. Dalton was as pale as a ghost, leaning on the wall with sadness in his eyes. The guys looked at us with sadness and pity.

It's finished! Dalton and I lost our mates..!!!
