Cole was afraid of it. He was afraid that it would happen to Mary. Mary was permanently transforming into a monster vampire. Her canines started to become more pointy, her eyes started glowing a pure black plus her skin colour became more and more pale. The boys were slowly backing up from Alpha and Mary. They were afraid of her; the vibes she was releasing, were getting more negative and powerful. Cole who was taken off by guard, stood forceless there, staring at Mary. It was confirmed; Cole Alan Pendery lost his mate forever. Once someone becomes a monster vampire permanently, she/he can never regain her/his original form. Cole fell on his knees and cried his red eyes out. Man it felt like his heart was tearing into pieces. His hands were trembling like leaves. His head was getting heavier and heavier. What is this feeling?? Is it depression or sadness or lame?? Cole was himself lost in his thoughts. It was so confusing that the boys were even worried sick about Cole. Mary was glaring evilly at Cole, her canines urging to bite Cole. Without any delay, she jumped on Cole to attack his neck. The boys were too far to help Cole in time. The vampire hunters were all killed, the wolf army were killed as well. It was too late, Cole was going to die. It is said that once if it happens that a wolf cells is mixed with a vampire cells, it can be fatal or even worse, the wolf can perish to death. Only a few inches away from his neck, Mary was. Cole was indifferent as now he had no more reasons to live. He was accepting the sufferance like nothing happened but luckily something pushed Mary away, it was Canine, Cole's inner wolf. It growled loudly at Mary and its red eyes became all blue. Full of power that only lord of wolves can manage. It attacked Mary in a blinking of an eye. Its speed was incomparable. The guys and even Cole were watching it amazed. Suddenly 5 other wolves attacked Mary; they were those from the other boys. All the 6 wolves attacked Mary brutally, violently, lustful for flesh. It could be seen that they hadn't eaten anything for the past months. They were biting Mary who weren't getting a single scratch. It was too unbelievable to think that a normal vampire/human can be so powerful. Mary pushed the wolves away, making them all knocked against the wall. 5 of them got knocked out while Cole's wolf persevered. It growled loudly and rushed full speed to Mary who was smirking lustfully for flesh at Canine. Yes, yes, Canine did it!! It forced its way directly to the neck of Mary and its teeth landed perfectly in her empty neck. It bit her, forcing its saliva to enter in her body so that she could perish to death. The same rule for wolves apply to vampires also. Mary whined loudly but no one could hear it. Why?? They all fell unconscious when their wolves came out of them. Mary held her neck tightly and laid on her back,trying to soften the pain but it was in vain. She walked painfully towards Cole trying to hold his hands. But why???

Just so, Cole woke up and saw her approaching to him. He backed a bit but then noticed the sadness and pain in her eyes. He headed carefully towards Mary and tried to hold her but she wouldn't stopped moving. So he didn't have any other choice than this one: he bit Mary in her neck but it was not a normal bite, it was a mark. Cole was marking her so that she could suffer less. Mary slowly decreased her whinings and soon she felt relaxed and rested her head on Cole's shoulders. Cole was feeling so comfortable and secure with her but he knew it was only for a short time. He pulled away and looked at her eyes to see it hazel again!!! Which means she's human again!!?!? But how?!?!? Anyways Cole hugged her immediately and kissed her on the lips which he missed so much. The sparks were coming back in his stomach after so long. It was amazing to feel your mate again in your arms. It was an amazing feeling which didn't last long..
