A heavily silence falls. Regina stands there glowering at me. I'm stunned. Regina honestly thought I'd cheated on her? She wanted me dead and never wished to see her again? I bite back a sob and run upstairs to the room we'd always shared, and packed my bags. I had just finished as Henry came home from school. He wants to know what's going on, so I try to explain as he helps me to move my bags to the bug.
Henry's so understanding and is thrilled, about the fact, he's going to be a big brother! I love my kiddo dearly and wish I could stay, to protect him from his angry adoptive mother. But no matter how angry Regina gets, I know she would never hurt him like she's hurt me. I kick the car into gear and drive away, tears blurring my vision as I leave my house behind for good.
I bang on my parents door the moment I arrive, barely able to contain my heartbroken sobs. "I'll get that" I hear Snow say. She opens the door, shock entering her eyes as she takes in how miserable and heartbroken I look standing on her doorstep. "Emma! What's wrong?" she cries. "Regina.... Thinks....." I can't get the words out, I can't breathe, I can't... "what? Come in sweetie lets talk, it'll help".
