Jessica's POV

We had checked into our hotel a little earlier than they had told us, luckily the room was ready, so we were able to. The room was actually pretty nice, it looked out on the pool, it had three beds, a really nice bathroom, and a huge flat screen television, we were staying at Marriott's Canyon Villas. I pulled out my phone and sent Alli a text explaining which hotel we were at, and to my surprise she responded..

Alli- We're staying there too! We'll be there in about five minutes, I'll meet you at the pool in a half an hour from now, please don't respond and wear a hat to the pool, I hope you still have that bathing suit that we bought matching ones of, if you do wear that, see you then -xoxo

I quickly changed into the bathing suit that Alli had asked me to, it was a two piece bikini that had black bottoms and a top that had angel wings printed on the white background. I explained to Nick and Alice what I was going to do, they were going to have an early dinner, we talked until it was time for me to go to the pool, I grabbed my big floppy sun hat and headed down to the pool. I heard screams from outside, so I knew that Cody was already here and settled in, I opened the doors to the pool and the smell of chlorine instantly made my nose burn. I saw a pair of open chairs so I quickly walked over to them, I threw my bag on the one next to me as I sat down in the other. My hat was hiding my face from the people at the pool, so when I heard an unfamiliar voice say, "This seat taken, babe?"

I looked up and was shocked to see Alli standing there, she faked her voice, what a dork, "I was saving it for you!" I said.

She sat down and launched into full explanation, I was shocked that management would do that to Cody, Alli told me that he woke up screaming and crying every single night. I hugged her and she said, "We're going to fix this, tonight at the concert, I'm sneaking you in, have you heard Cody's new song?"

"Summertime of Our Lives is all I listen to, so yes, I have," I said.

She smiled and grabbed my arm, "We're going to get ready," she said.

An hour later I was wearing a "Surf, Jam, Live in a Van" crop-top, black high-waisted shorts, dirty white Vans, and my hair was curled, Alli was wearing a "All I Care About Is Pizza" crop-top, pink high-waisted shorts, dirty grey Vans, and her hair was straight. We walked to the venue which was only a five minute walk, when we reached the back doors they let us in without a hesitation, Alli lead me to her separate room and locked the door behind us. She told me that Before You Exit was off already and Ryan was on his last song now, so that meant that Cody was going on in about two minutes. We peaked our heads out the door to see Cody with his back facing us walking down the hallway, I wanted to scream his name and run into his arms, but right now wasn't the time. We ducked back into the room and talked for about fifteen minutes until Alli dragged me out of the room, put the head-set microphone on my head, and told me that Cody was getting ready to perform "Summertime of Our Lives" and I was a surprise guest. I heard the music start and then I heard Cody's perfect voice.

Alli told me to start singing as she pushed me out on stage, so I did.
