Chapter 14
He hung up. I showered and got dressed and fixed my hair. I wasnt about to look like a mess in front of him. An hour passed and I heard his motorcycle and then the doorbell. I ran to get it and when I opened the door, Jaiden DID look like a mess. He has huge bags under his eyes. It looked as if he hadn’t slept in a month. I opened my mouth but he stopped me.
“Before you say anything I want to know that I don’t want to hear begging.”
“Jaiden. I don’t like her. I hate her. It was all a big misunderstanding. She has had a crush on me forever. She forced herself on me.” I was fighting back tears.
“Why should I believe you Oliver? It looked pretty damn bad.”
“I know.”
“And I have trust issues!”
“I know.”
“I cant believe this happened to me again! Its fucking ridiculous!”
“I know.”
“Ugh Oliver…” he shook his head. He opened his mouth and he was going to get started again but I interrupted.
“I love you.” I said bluntly. Jaiden paused a moment.
“Pardon?”
“I love you Jaiden. Believe that.” He stood there a moment looking at me. Then he stepped toward me picked me up and kissed me harder than he had ever kissed me before. I don’t know where that “I love you” came from. It just came out. Of course it was true. I just had never said it before because I didn’t want to rush Jaiden. I knew he had been hurt before. As we kissed, he carried me up the stairs and into my bedroom. He threw me onto my bed and crawled on top of me. He kissed me again, and then he started kissing my neck.
“Jaiden.. are you absolutely sure you want to do this? Are you positive you are ready?” I asked out of breath. He stopped and looked straight into my eyes and said in a serious voice,
“Marry me.”
