At Emma's, her parents decided to have dinner. They sat around the table. Emma, Tom, Emma's brother Alex, Emma's half-sisters Nina and Lucy (twins), Emma's half-brother Toby, and Emma's parents. Basically, eight people. Yay.
Emma's mom made spaghetti and meatballs, roast chicken, mash potatoes with gravy, and macaroni and cheese for the little kids. They were all eating, when Mom decided to ask about Tom's parents and siblings and birthplace and what school he goes to and how he got the part of Draco Malfoy and a billion other things.
"I think that's enough questions for one night, mom." Emma shot her a look.
"What's your name?" Little Toby asked.
"Tom Felton." Tom answered, smiling.
"Is your hair naturallity that blond?" Nina asked.
"No, I had it bleached for the movies."
"Why are you so nice all of a sudden?" That was Lucy.
"I've always been nice. I just have to pretend to be mean for the movies."
"Why can't you play a nice guy?" Toby.
"Because, you doof, that's not how his character is in the books!" Alex responded.
"Alex! Manners." Dad.
"Okay well it looks like Tom and I have finished our dinner." Emma stood up.
"Wait, don't you guys want dessert?"
"Nope, bye!" She grabbed Tom's arm and sped to her room.
"Leave the door open, young lady!" She heard her dad say. Her face flushed.
They sat on the bed. "I'm sorry about my family. They're always interviewing new people."
"It's okay." Tom laughed. They spent the rest of the night talking about what they're planning to do after all the films are done.
"I'm just going to continue with my acting career and see where it goes from there." He said. Emma nodded.
"Yeah me too. But I've always wanted to go to college. Specifically Brown University." Her eyes lit up every time she mentioned that school.
"Isn't that in America?"
"Yeah, but I'll have enough money to fly over there by the time the movies are all out." She smiled.
"True. I guess I'll go wherever you go then."
The Harry Potter crew decided to take a year long break before starting the next film because Prisoner of Azkaban has so far been their least earning movie. The cast agreed saying they needed sometime with their families. Emma agreed, but was devastated she wouldn't be seeing the other cast members, her family, for a full year perhaps.
"Maybe we can meet up sometime?" Rupert suggested.
"Oh, definitely!" Dan agreed.
"Good thing phones exist." Tom said. They all nodded.
Emma walked over to Matthew who seemed to be alone in the corner. He had his head down and appeared to be sniffling. "What's wrong, Matt?"
He looked up at her. "Nothing, I'm just really going to miss all of you guys. I never really had friends until I came here." Emma's heart broke. The casting here was amazing.
"Don't worry. We're all going to miss each other. But hey, we're currently making plans to meet up sometime!" She motioned to the group across the room. "Come on." She took Matt's hand and brought him over to the rest.
"Hey Matt! How do you feel about going out to central London next week?" Dan asked him, smiling ear from ear. Matthew nodded, also grinning.
"That's that!" Tom said.
The next day, which was the first day of break, Tom and Emma went to London for a walk. They made sure not to hold hands just in case paparazzi were peaking around. Pretty soon they were bombarded with cameras.
"Hey Emma, how's it feel to be so famous at such a young age?"
"Tom! How's the family doing?"
"Are you guys a thing?"
"No, we're people." Emma snapped. They tried to push their way out of the crowd. But they failed.
"Are you guys dating?"
"How long have you guys been together?"
"Can y'all kiss for the camera, please?"
"Are you guys in love?"
"Please go away! We are not in love, we are not dating, and we never will!" Tom replied. Emma knew he said that for the paps but it still hurt. Did she love him?
Finally, they got somewhere secluded. Little did they know how much fame they had already got from starring in Harry Potter, the biggest movie franchise and the most sold book series in history. Emma Watson, Tom Felton, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint were the most famous child actors in the world. When a rumour about either of them flew about, the entire world already knew. Sometimes, even before they themselves knew. This was quite alarming for children their age. Dan and Rup were 14, Tom was 15, and Emma was 13. They couldn't possibly know how to deal with fame this big yet.
After a year of hiding their relationship, Tom and Emma grew tired of it. "Let's just reveal it." Emma suggested one day.
"We can't. They won't let us." Tom sighed.
"I don't understand why, though. It's not like people are going to stop watching our movies." She retorted.
"Yeah but our characters aren't exactly best friends and if we are seen as a couple, don't you think that'll kind of ruin the flow of the movies?" He looked at her, apologetically.
"What? I'm pretty sure the public should be smart enough to know that we are not our characters and just because we are dating doesn't mean Draco and Hermione will." Emma fumed. Tom raised his eyebrows. By now, he was used to this reaction.
Emma sat down. "I'm sorry. I just don't think this constant anxiety of trying not to be seen by the public is healthy for our relationship.
"I don't think so either. But what are we going to do about it?"

RomanceI always liked the idea that maybe Emma and Tom had gotten together during some of the Harry Potter years but kept it secret. Obviously, that most likely didn't happen. So this story is completely made up from my own imagination because I wanted to...
