Author's Note: Yes, I call them jamies. Not pajamas, pjs, or any of the sort. If you haven't realized I am a child. :3
I woke up to the sun shining on my face. Don't you just hate it when you wake up? I look at my clock and it read 6:40. *Sigh* I get up and change out of my Batman jamies. Lazily, I proceeded to do all the necessary things one must do in the morning. When walking down the stairs I almost trip. "Yikes, that was close," I said as if I dodged a bullet.
*Actually trips this time* I landed on my butt the floor at the bottom. *Yawn* I get up and brush off myself.
"What a 'lovely' start to the day," I groan. I run to the bus considering I have never been on the bus before and don't know when it arrives. It is cold this morning. I hope it heats up since I only have a light jacket. I shiver. It is so cold, I started breathing through my mouth to entertain myself.
I make it in time. Too much time, I waited a five minutes before someone even showed up.
"What are you doing here!? He said happily.
"I go to the bus," I said coldly, not showing how surprised I really am. I glanced at him from the corner of my eye and saw the distance between us getting smaller. He became more relaxed, like something is on his mind.
"So, you wanna tell me what happened yesterday?" He was so close now. We were only inches apart. I turned my head so I faced him. I started getting nervous.
"I could just lie to you, you know?" I said stiffly. "You probably wouldn't even find out." He became affectionate face was revealed.
"You wouldn't do that, you are too good of a person," he said in his womanizer tone.
"Heh!" I nervously laughed. "Don't act like you know me," my outer personality said seeming colder than usual.
"Freya...nobody likes a liar," he says while making me look into his chocolate eyes. He's cradling my face gently, smiling. His hands are warm and inviting. An Instant chill goes across my back. He sounds so lovely when he said my name, not like the first time. Why does he treat me so kind when I am so cruel?
Kai's POV:
Her skin is so pale and soft, I can't help but to touch it. She jumps when I hold her face, looking frazzled. Her cold expression leaves her. This is what she is usually like. I can feel it. Not the cold character like she seems to be.
"Freya...nobody likes a liar," I say as cars pass us by. She sighed and relaxed, so I moved my hand.
"...I found out what Rosalina does to herself. Haven't you guys ever realized how depressed she is? I thought you guys were close?" She caved in. I could tell she was more relaxed. I became more serious and went back to a more comfortable position for her.
"We are, it's just... She hasn't been herself ever since she her dad died," I said while crossing my arms thinking on the matter.
"You're kidding?" She said in surprise.
"Yeah..? Why?" I said, confused.
"She cuts herself because of how broken her family is and how he used to beat her." People start to arrive at the buss stop.
"That's not possible she had only nice things to say about him," I lowered my voice.
"Maybe, she means when they used to be a happy family," she says quietly.
"Just because he wasn't a good father doesn't mean she didn't love him," I informed her.
"I suppose..." She says cuddling her small, shivering body waiting for the bus.
Suddenly the bus turned the corner and stopped *SQEEEEAAAKKKKK*
"Ow!!"
"You okay!?" Freya asked curiously while we and others form a line to the bus.
"Huh," I say, trying to regain my composure while everyone is staring at me. "Oh, yeah..." I laugh while scratching the back of my head. "I guess you could say I have sensitive hearing."
"Okay..?"She said, unsatisfied with my answer as we walked onto the bus.
She was assigned the seat in front of me, seat 19. As soon as the bus driver shuts the doors, a silence falls over the people as we head to school.
