Sans x reader (together)

Hanging with sans

     You and sans arrive at Grillbys, how you got there is still a mystery to you, but you let it go for now. You both walk in and sit at the bar. You look around to see if you recognize anyone. There were a lot of monster there. There were  a group of dog-soldiers playing poker in the center of the room and a fire monster behind the booth named grillby. Unfortunately you weren't getting any closer to finding out who you are. Strangely enough you didn't mind not knowing who you were, in fact you were worried to find out about yourself. It would only mean you would have to leave this place...leave the skelebros. 

"Hey kid, you want burger or fries?" sans says, breaking your dazed train of thought.

"Huh? Oh uh I'll have a burger."

"Hey grillby, we'll have two burgers." He says to the flaming bar tender.

Sans looks over to you and tries to make a conversation.

"So kid, you remember anything yet?"

You look down at your feet in disappointment. "No, I haven't"

"Don't sweat it kid, your always welcomed at our place." Sans says reassuring you.

You feel a smile start on your face and it start to heat up. They welcomed you, a complete stranger into their home. Although you knew not to trust strangers, something about sans made you feel safe. Like he would protect you.

"Thanks sans, it  means a lot." You said, smiling like a goof.

"No problem kid, tiba honest I like the company." He says laughing to his own pun.

You laugh along with sans and just enjoy your time with him.  After a bit grillby brings you and sans the burgers you ordered. They were much bigger than you thought. You look over to sans notice he hasn't eaten any of his burger.

"What's wrong sans, not hungry?" You say with all eyes on him.

"What can I say, burgers go right through me." He says with a snicker.

The thought did cross your mind that they were unable to eat, until you had spaghetti with them. Where did it go though? Wouldn't it go right through them? You see sans push his plate closer to you .

"Here, save it. It may come in handy." He says winking at you

"Thanks sans." You blush and smile kinda awkwardly, neither of you seemed to care. You just get a strange feeling that maybe he never intended to eat a burger in the first place.

        Once you were done eating sans hopped down from the bar stool and began to leave. 

"Hey grillby, put it on my tab." Sans says once he reached the door.

You hurry to catch up to sans. Before leaving you thank grillby for the food and rush out the door. You manage to catch up to sans and ask him about the check.

"How can I pay you back?" You ask in a serious manner.

"Forget it." He says. "Its on me, don't worry about it."

You feel happy that sans offered to pay, but you were not about to let it go. You were determined to repay him.

"So uh sans where we headed?" You ask.

"I'm taking you back to the house and then i gotta go to my station." He says as he flips up the hood of his jacket.

"Can I come with you?" Your curiosity gets the best of you. Where did sans work anyway?

"I don't know kid. It might be a bad idea, especially if undyne finds out about you."

" Who's undyne and what would happen if she knew I was here?" You had heard this name before. You began to worry about this undyne person, and what her intensions were.

"Undyne is the head of the royal guard and her job it to hunt humans." He says as lightly as possible. Sans knows it would scare you if he were to say she has already killed six humans before, so of coarse he didn't mention it. "I don't know tho, your different from other humans that have came here. Maybe she will spare you."

"Different? How am I different from other humans?" You ask in a hesitant tone.

"Well for one thing you don't even know who you are and you don't seem like a person who will kill people for no reason." He says as you both reach the front door of the house.

"Kill anyone?! I would never kill anyone."

"I know kid, I know. Lets just leave it here for the day. Well talk more about this another time." He says as he escorts you inside and vanishes behind you.  Probably went to his station you thought. After walking over and falling down on the couch you let out a long sigh. Out of nowhere, papyrus pops in front of your face, startling you and causing you to fall off the couch.

"HUMAN, WHAT IS WRONG?" He says after noticing your body language from when you came home.

"Huh, oh nothing pap just thinking I guess."

"WELL IF YOU EVER NEED TO TALK THEN I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, WILL ALWAYS LISTEN."

You give him  warm smile and nod your head. He smiles back and walks out the door in the same direction sans went. Seems like sans isn't the only one worried about you.

Sorry about all the dialogue I'm having a bit of writers block but don't worry i'll try and make the next chapter a bit more interesting I promise . Also I am completely amazed that 92 ppl have read this story to me that is just amazing and I want thank you guys so much for reading my story!

Also still would love so constructive criticism on the story I feel it could be better and would love to kinda have some ideas from it. Thanks!
