Aubrey's POV

In the past week I have completely ignored any and all guys. Well, except for my Dad, old castle workers, and Mike. They're at least harmless. But I've been thinking...why shouldn't I date. HE certainly is with Taylor and all the other girls he's probably slept with. It's now my mission to find a better guy than him. I could even hire one if I wanted to! But I'm not that desperate. Lily says I'm one of the most beautiful girls out there! It should be easy to find a guy as sweet, loving, adorable, and nice as...Niall. I miss him, I hate to admit it even to myself but I do. He is, was my first love and I will never forget him. Especially since his face is on magazines constantly!

Lily's POV

"Lily, I told Aubrey she should move on from Niall. Do you think I did the right thing?" Abby asked Whilst I was holding Mari "She obviously loves him even if he was stupid and cheated on her." "So you think I'm wrong for telling her such things?" How should I say this "Niall loves Aubrey, Aubrey loves Niall. They're in love and by what I've seen and heard they aren't going to fall out of love. If she tries out other guys she'll see that Niall was the one all along. So in a way I think you did what was right and you helped Aubrey in realizing who she is meant to be with." I smiled "They do make a cute couple don't they?" she giggled as we both laughed together, even Mari joined in not knowing what we were laughing at

*Next Day*

Aubrey's POV

I have a date arranged for me in an hour with this lad named Jake. He sounds like a great guy and me and Mari can't wait to meet him! Yes I said Mari, I said I'd take her off of Lily's hand so she could have a spa day with Abs. Anyways, Jake should be fine with it if not I won't see him again.

*At date*

"Excuse me?" I hear from behind and turn around "I'm Jake" he said "Aubrey it's nice to meet you" I smiled as I shook his hand and had Mari's in the other His smile wavered "Who's she?" he asked dropping my hand "This is my niece sorry I had to bring her but I promised my sister I would take her off of her hands for the day and I forgot when I made the date. I hope it's all right." It was silent for a moment as he stared at Marissa "Yeah...um it's fine. So what do you want to do today?" he crouched down to Mar with a smile and asked her as she hid behind my leg "Sorry she's a bit shy" I apologized "It's fine so what do you want to do today?" he asked me "Want to walk around the park?" "Sure" he smiled as I picked up Mari and we walked out of the coffee shop to the big park fountain Crap! "Oh hey Jake I forgot my bag in the coffee shop would you mind watching Mari so I can grab it real quick?" he looked hesitant "Sure..." "Thanks you're a life saver" I sped walked away from them and quickly received my bag from the shop but when I came back I saw something that disgusted me. "Brat you better fucking stay out of my way this whole date or if the Princess leaves us alone again you're going to get punished!" Jake said to a now weeping Mari as he was squeezing her arm tight "Hey!" I screamed "Get off her!" he jumped back "A-Aubrey! I was just..." "Save it! I heard the whole thing! You better stay away from us or you're going to jail! Threatening my niece and your future Princess how dare you!" I yelled at him picking up Mari and walking away "I'm so sorry Mari I didn't know he was a bad guy otherwise I never would've left you with him" I said to Mari kissing her red arm as she stopped crying a little "I-It's okay" "When we get home you can have all the sweets Miranda can make you okay?" "Yay!" I smiled and continued walking to the castle
