Aubrey's POV

Even though I basically skipped town the whole castle has welcomed me back with open arms. I feel like the worst Daughter in the world to have not seen my parents one last time before they were killed and I regret every second of it. Their deaths have hit me harder than Lily's and we all know how depressed I was after that. It's been exactly a day since got back and I'm already getting married tomorrow to 'the perfect guy' I'm dreading it. I never thought that I would be saying that...I'm dreading my wedding. But I must do what's best for my country.

Niall's POV

I still haven't recovered from being with Aubrey. I never got a chance to explain the situation although I don't blame her, it looked terrible. After that I kicked Lucy out even though she was terribly sorry and didn't know that Aubrey and I were dating, I felt bad. But not after I thought about it and I think I did the right thing. I'd be happily in an engagement if it wasn't for Lucy! Today I found out that Aubrey is getting married tomorrow for her country to a random stranger. He doesn't know how lucky he is to have her. I need her and I can't believe that I've lost her...again. I really need to clean up my act if I'm going to get Aubrey back during the wedding tomorrow

*Next day, Wedding time*

Aubrey's POV

I stood at the end of the isle realizing I didn't have my Dad to walk me down it; instead Mike did. The music played as everyone stood and I walked robotically to the man at the alter called Henry. He's 30 years old...enough said. I got to the alter and took the strangers hand, the ceremony started with; "My dearly beloveds we are gathered here today for the union of two people. If anyone is against this union speak now or forever hold your piece." Said the priest "I object to this marriage!" screamed someone from the back of the church and at first I thought thank God, but then I saw it was Niall and could only imagine how much pain he will cause my country if I don't do this "I object too!" shouted Louis "Same" added Liam "Aubrey you're not marrying that stranger!" added Harry "I agree to that notion!" said Zayn I looked at the priest not knowing what to do next he said "Then there will be no ceremony on the promise that the one who objected first marry the current bride" "I accept!" shouted Niall and my mouth dropped open and was about to protest but instead said through clenched teeth to the priest "Can we have 20 minutes?" "Of course my Princess" I walked back down the aisle and into the dressing room with One Direction closely behind They all gathered into the large room and once the door closed I burst into flames "What. The. Fuck. What do you guys think you're doing?! I have to do this for my country if I don't there will not be another ruler and kayos will break out! How could you jeopardize the future of my kingdom!" I yelled filled with furry "Aubrey you don't know him, he could be a rapist for all you know" said Louis "Background check Lou, he's fine" "You just met him" added Harry "Well life hasn't been on my side lately so I need to know that my country will be in good hands even if he is a stranger. Anyone else want to try?" "You're not happy" swayed Niall "I meant what I said. I will marry you. I'm proud of you for trying to do this but I won't let you. Your happiness comes first, you never heard my side of the story you know. She kissed me, not the other way around. I love you Aubrey and I would be so grateful to be your Husband. You can't stay mad at me forever." And with that they all left me to think that's when Abby came in I looked up about to ask if she heard but she nodded before I could voice my question "Abby I can't. I need to be with Henry. It's a fresh start for me and I may not be happy with the arranged marriage but at least my country will have a ruler." "Aubrey you're making excuses as to why you can't marry Niall and you know it. Everyone knows you love Niall so why can't you just admit it to yourself." said Abby calmly with a bit of frustration and then she added quietly "Lily would want you to be happy" "I know Abby! I know I love Niall but he is off with other girls and always cheats on me when we're together, whether it's real or a misunderstanding! I may be in love with him now but if I stay with him I know I'll get hurt again. And the pain I had the first two times was worth dying for. I don't know if I could handle it if he hurt me again!
