Derek drove to Sammy's apartment but didn't meet her there. He drove back to his apartment hoping she was there but she wasn't
He needed to find her, he knew she wasn't doing well after the club issue, he needed to know she was safe
Derek tracked her mobile down, he would hold the guilt for all his life should anything happen to Sammy
"Dave, I'm sure of what I want, make me yours and help me forget all about Derek Harold" Sammy whispered to Dave's ears seductively
She had never in her life thought that she would stoop to such a level of begging a guy to male love to her especially in such manipulative manner
Samantha was fully aware of Dave's feelings towards her and she knew he wouldn't say no even when he didn't want to
She was ready to go to any length to forget all about Derek and their love story
Dave wanted more than anything to make love to Samantha and show her how much affection and respect he had for her but he didn't want to do it knowing fully well the motif behind Samantha's pleas
Sammy flung her arms around Dave's neck and gave him a soft kiss as she implored him to deepen the kiss by running her fingers down his chest
A loud thud interrupted their brief moment of romance
Terrified,they both ran towards the sitting room forgetting to put on their clothes
"Samantha I know you are in there" a loud voice said
It was the voice she easily recognised even if she's unconscious, the voice that drove her wild
It was Derek's voice
Panicking, Samantha ran back to Dave's room and put on her clothes
She locked the doors behind her, she needed to stay away from Derek and all the pain he brought to her heart
Although she knew sooner or later she would have to talk things out with him
No sooner, Derek burst into Dave's room
Dave ran after him and tried to stop him from entering but his actions were rewarded with a heavy blow
"Dave, the old school mate" he cursed under his ragged breath
Samantha got furious and didn't hide it one bit, Derek how dare you barge in here and treat "Dave in such manner after what you did at the club", she screamed
" I came to talk things out with you" he replied
Samantha gave him a blank stare
"Honey, I can't stand breaking up with you, my life depends on our love" he continued
Samantha gave him the "if you love me you will respect me" look
"Please love don't leave me, teach me how to be faithful"
Samantha scoffed "And what will I gain from that, more heart break?"
Derek went down on his knee and brought out a small velvet box
"This time I symbolise my promises with an engagement ring. Sammy, I promise to be faithful and to respect you"
Sammy has always dreamt of this moment, she had imagined it to be more romantic but it didn't matter
"Samantha Geoffrey, would you be my wife?"
"Yes Yes Yes" she screamed with excitement
That moment nothing else mattered to Samantha not even Dave's presence
The next morning, Samantha and Derek hit the beach to celebrate their engagement together. He knew how much Sammy loved the sea so much so he decided the beach was the perfect place to celebrate
Sammy agreed to get some coconut drinks while Dave set up their picnic but when she got back, there was no setting up
Just Derek doing his usual thing, flirting with a sexy girl in bikini
He saw Sammy coming and quickly pushed the girl away. "Honey, I'm sorry" he said sincerely
"Its fine" Samantha said and smirked
"I do not have the strength to live without you eventually I'll learn to lice with your flirty nature. I love you"
"And I love you more, Samantha Geoffrey" he whispered to her ears and gave her a deep kiss
