Antonio's p.o.v.
Phoebe and I are now at work, sitting at our desk when my phone goes off. I look at it and it's a text from Phoebe.
*Text messages*
PB: "Hey, I was not excepting Nate to come home a day early. I'm sorry."
AD: "Hey, it's fine. We still on for another round Monday?"
PB: "Yeah. I have a question?"
AD: "Yeah, shoot it at me."
PB: "Are we a thing?"
AD: "I mean if you want to be something."
PB: "Okay we are officially in a relationship."
*End text messages*
I looked over at Phoebe and she was looking at me. We smiled and I was about to talk when Erin walked up to Phoebe and started to talk. I got up from my desk and walked into the break room to get coffee. When I was getting coffee, Jay came in and said,"You have a thing for little Casey." I looked at him and say,"What are you talking about Halstead?" Jay looked at me then looked back at Phoebe and said,"I see how you look at her. It's the same way I look at Erin." I shake my head and say,"Okay maybe you are right Jay. I do have a thing for Phoebe. We actually started dating today." "What?!? Getting with Voight's play toy, that is stupid of you Dawson!" Jay said. I pushed him up against the wall and said,"Don't ever call her that. She didn't mean to get pregnant. Also, you don't have any room to talk. You are hooking up with Erin." I walked away after that. I'm back at my desk when Platt calls me downstairs. I walk downstairs and see Ava. "Hey, what are you doing here?" I asked Ava. She looks around and says,"Nothing I wanted to come see my dad." I shake my head and say,"I don't believe that. Come upstairs and wait until I get off work."
We walk upstairs and once we get up top I send Ava to sit between Phoebe and I.
Phoebe's p.o.v.
I look over to the stairs and see Antonio and his daughter Ava. She say down between my desk and Antonio's desk. I don't talk to her until Antonio goes away to talk to Voight. "Hey, Ava why are you here?" Ava looks at me then says,"Can we talk somewhere else?"
I get up and say,"Follow me." We walk to the break room and close the door. I sit down and Ava follows. I start to talk,"Hey, what's wrong? Is everything okay?" Ava shakes her head yes and , says,"Nathan called me and told me about you and my dad." I look at her, cough, and say,"Oh yeah. What did he say?" Ava laughs and says,"It's okay. He told me everything. I think it's cool that you and my dad are dating." I smile and say,"Is that why you came alway here to tell your dad that?" Ava put her head down and said,"No, I actually wanted to tell him I don't want to live with my mom anymore, but I don't know how to tell him. He is mad at me." I was about to talk when Antonio came in and started to yell at Ava. "Ava, didn't I tell you not to leave that spot unless you had to go to the bathroom!" I put Ava behind me and said,"Antonio Dawson! Do not yell at her. She came to your work to ask you something really important, but you won't listen to her. Hey Ava go back to your sit and I'll talk to your dad." She shook her head okay and walked back to her sit. Antonio shut the door and said,"Why the hell did you protect my daughter, she knows not to ride the train by herself and..." I interrupted Antonio by saying,"Antonio is f you listened for one second you would have found out that, Ava wants to live with you?" He looked at me and said,"What?!?! That's why she came here." I shook my head yes and start to walk back to my desk when Voight calls me to my office.
*Voights p.o.v.*
I called Phoebe into my office and had her sit down then I shut the door. "So, what do you think about your partners daughter being here?" I looked at Voight and for the first time I smiled at Voight and said,"I'm fine with it. I've known her since she was in diapers." I thinking to myself what they have known each other since around the time Phoebe found out she was pregnant... "Hey, Voight is that all?" I looked at her and said,"Yeah." Phoebe left and I got up walked to the door frame and call Dawson to come back into my office. "Yeah, Sarge. What do you need?" Antonio said. I walked around my desk sat down and said,"Sit down. Did Phoebe tell you that I was the father of Nate when she first found out she was pregnant?" Antonio sat down and said,"How do you know I was one of the people Phoebe told she was pregnant?" I laugh and say,"I just figured that if Phoebe has known your daughter since she was in diapers then she must have told you ahead pregnant. Also since your guys seem to be close I figured she told you I was the father before anyone." Antonio stood up and said,"You know what Voight? Phoebe did tell me you are the father of Nate when she first found out, but I decided not to tell you because you would have tried to get custody of him back then and win the case." Antonio left my office and slammed the door. I wonder if those two have something going on?
