It was morning and everyone was gathered at the mess hall. (I think that's what it's called.. 😂) You got your food and sat next to Armin and Mikasa.
"Hi (Y/N)!" Armin said, smiling at you. You smiled back cutely.
"Hi Armin!" You replied. You turned to Mikasa, who seemed to be staring at a large group of people. "What's with the crowd?" You asked.
"Eren.." Mikasa said, slightly concerned. A quiet "Oh" escaped your mouth.
"What were they like?" A cadet asked. From a small peek from the crowd of people, you see Eren drop his spoon and cover his mouth.
"E-Eren?" Mikasa managed to stutter out. Mikasa and Eren were close also. Especially the fact that they are brother and sister. Well, not technically. Mikasa seemed to care about her sibling a lot. Eren gulped.
"T-They're not that big of a deal.." "I mean... I'm still gonna join the Scouts Regiment no matter what!" You, Mikasa, and Armin turned to Eren and gasped.
"T-The Scouts? He wants to join the scouts?" You said. Armin and Mikasa just nodded.
"He talked a lot about it when he was smaller." Armin explained.
"Ooooh." You replied.
"We didn't know you then, that's probably why you didn't know." Mikasa added. You nodded with agreement.
"Yeah, probably."
A person snorted across the table from Eren. "The Scout Regiment? I'd prefer to stay inside the walls. And be safer there."
"Well I wanna fight for humanity! Not just be trapped in this place all my life!" Eren yelled.
"Oh, isn't that that Horseface dude from the first day who said they wanted to join the Military Police?" You asked. Mikasa nodded, also agreeing that he IS a Horseface.
"I think his name was Jea---"
"Then who's gonna protect the inner walls?!" 'Horseface' yelled back. Mikasa stood up from her chair and walked infront of both of them.
"Fighting is going to get you no-where, plus, you're gonna be stuck with each other from 3 years, so why not just get along?" She exclaimed. Eren sighed. Horseface did also.
"I'm sorry" Horseface said. (I put Horseface because that's what you only know how of or as.)
"I'm sorry too," Eren replied and extended a hand. Horseface did also and they shook on it. Mikasa smiled a bit.
"Okay, I think we should go now...!" You said, immediately wanting to leave the horse for some apparent reason. He probably just made you uncomfortable or something because of his horse-like face.
Eren, Mikasa, and Armin nodded. You grinned and walked out the door. Armin and Eren followed, Mikasa's hair shone in the moonlight and walked behind all of you guys. All you heard from behind was a compliment about Mikasa saying 'You have long pretty hair' or something like that.
As you guys walked, Eren talked with Mikasa. "I think you should get your hair cut shorter. He pointed to her neck. "Maybe up to there so it wouldn't be so easy for Titans the grab." Mikasa looked down at her hair.
"Okay, I'll cut it." She replied.
"I think you'd like pretty cool with short hair, Mikasa." You smiled. She gave you a slight smile back and continued walking, catching up to Eren who was way ahead. So it was just you and Armin....
