"He was a very happy man always smiling, he had a very good Sense of humour, where i get mine from apparently. He was a very supportive father and I thank him and God for that, he was so devastated after the death of my mother" The church began to echo with the mixed responses of sobs which seemed to be little and laughter of my fathers relatives which was an indication of my humour but little did they know that I wasn't laughing nor was I crying, I was lying through my teeth but I was not inexperienced in this.
"Thank you very much for the kind and sympathetic words that you speak on behalf of your father" said Minister Clark
"I only speak the truth!" I explained to Minister Clark
Deep down I was delighted of my fathers death which I shouldn't have been but after the death of my mother what was I supposed to think of him? He would immediately shoot me down and punish me if I ever questioned him about her and her death ? my face translated the rest as I sat and pretended" to be crying, a shadow brushed off my right shoulder which throbbed of pain from the very last beating my father gave me for not finishing his last "Job" off !
"I'm so terribly sorry Miss ?" The stranger looked at me with his big blue intelligent eyes and hair as black as death
"Coleman" I told him flirtatiously trying to hold myself back from touching him
"I'm so sorry Miss Coleman!" "For hitting your shoulder and for the death of your father!" He said apologetically
"Thanks but I've had enough sympathy and apologetic comments today, I almost think of people saying it as a chore ?" I said
"Sorry I haven't properly introduced myself, I'm Telarick Hamilton" he said in his British accent which I couldn't deny sounded sexy and cute.
"I'm Callie Sydney Coleman, but I'm guessing you already knew that?"
"Yes of course, I'm your fathers lawyer" Telarick said profoundly
" So I'm guessing you must know about his drug charges?" I said trying to sound professional
"You might not want to believe it Miss Coleman but I know everything about you!"
But little did Telarick Hamilton know that I knew everything about him too!
