I walked through the ruins of the world, observing gears, and blood, and several other things that made looking outside an altogether unpleasant thing to do. I had to step over the dead bodies of other mechs, and wondered if there were truly a time when all of this was like the old pictures, sunrays shining through green mountains with pretty white peaks. In the distance was a single house. It looked fairly decent, and I decided to scavenge there. I was not human, and therefore did not necessarily need to scavenge, but adventuring was interesting. I set my head against the door, my mic picking up nothing but small creaks as the house settled on the foundation. I am a robot, and if I were to barge in a house with pro-humans in it, it would start a conflict, so I turned up my mic's sensitivity. Again, nothing. So I slowly opened the door, it squeaking on its hinges. I found nothing interesting right away, and made my way up the stairs, holding onto the railing and gently setting my feet on the stairs, making sure I don't make much noise. I walked around on the second floor, stopping in front of a room that made my curiosity chip light up like the human holiday tree. I slowly pushed the door open, looking around at the messy room. It was...fascinating, the rubble of a war long gone.
