Explosions. I can't move, I can't speak, I can't see, I can't feel. All I can do is listen. There is an intruder. Only an intruder can cause the enemy to react this way. I have been tied to this pole for two days. Today is the end of the second day. Just as the camp started to rest for the night, someone entered the fort. I can't tell where the intruder is. I hope they can rescue me, if they even find me. It probably won't be hard. The reason I am tied here is because the leader of this camp wants me to be his wife. I will never except his proposal. That is why I am tied here. Suddenly I realize there are no explosions. Only soldiers running about, trying to find the intruder no doubt. I here silent padding coming towards me. As it gets louder, a voice whispers, "Don't worry! Let's hurry and get out of here." The person starts releasing me, from the ropes, the gag, the blindfold and all. I would have answered, but my mouth was so dry and my eyes couldn't adjust to the dim light of the setting sun. A setting sun. I hadn't even seen the sun at all in two days, let alone a setting sun. If only I could see. I try to follow him but I don't know where I am. He soon realizes that I can't see and he picks me up, bridle style, and he sprints for the exit. Who knows why he was in there. He couldn't have known that I was in there. No one but the enemy knew I was in there. My vision is slowly coming back, but my voice is completely gone. About an hour or two of on and off running, we finally stopped. He put me down and started to breath heavily. I felt bad that he had to carry me all that way. I still couldn't see, so I didn't know what he looked like. He said, "I think we are far enough away." I tried to answer, but all that came out was a dry squeak. There was a pause, as if he was looking at me strange, then must have realized that it had been a while since I had water. "Oh! I'll go get us some water!" He padded off. I couldn't see the direction. I was only able to see the shadow off an outline of everything. It will probably be better in the light of day. I started to listen and look around me with whatever sight I had. I saw what I thought was tall grass, an occasional tree, and rocks scattered here and there. I figured we must be in some sort of savannah. We must have traveled a great distance to be in a savannah. The fort that I was a prisoner in was in a desert. I heard more padding towards me. A quiet voice reassured me, "Don't worry, it's just me. I brought water." He handed me a large cup. I wondered where he got them. I drank the cool, fresh, delicious water. There was so much and it was so good. I couldn't stop. My voice slowly came back. I cleared my throat and croaked, "Thank you, for the water and for saving my life." He simply replied, "It's fine. No problem." I smiled at him. Well, I think it was him. I soon realized my mind was being coated with a thick fog. I soon lost consciousness, and fell asleep. That night, I had a dream about playing in a meadow with my mom. We were so happy together. We had just came to Eclipse from Earth. A planet almost identical to Earth, except the name, the people and other inhabitants that live there. Suddenly, a great ocean of people rushed at us. They took me and my mom to be servants. My mom tried to protect me. They killed her. I was taken as prisoner. It wasn't long before the leader noticed me and asked my hand. I refused and was tied to a pole. This dream played over and over in my head. Sweet memories followed by unrelenting pain.
