There is no way I can believe her! Things going in slow motion?! Insane! Suddenly she stands up. "Thank you again for rescuing me. I'm sure I'll meet you again sometime in the future." She turned so fast it didn't seem possible. She sprinted off. I almost stopped her before I realized something, I didn't really want a delusional person on my team. I winced as the thought raced through my mind. That was so harsh! And to think a few hours ago, she was going to be on my team! I yelled after her, "Good luck! I hope to see you again!" There was no answer.

I picked up my stuff and looked around. I couldn't believe I had spent 10 days in the same spot. It had been 7 days since Blossom left. I had lost so much time saving that girl and sitting here. I smiled. It was worth it though. I had saved someone in need of help. I wouldn't consider her a friend exactly, but she was kind. I started walking. Once I came across a town or another enemy fort, I was going to buy a transportation crystal, some food, armor, and get to work finding that crown. I walked and walked. Suddenly I heard a large clanging noise up ahead. I sprinted towards it and leaped over rocks as I ran the short distance. As I came over the rise I ducked down immediately. There was an enemy fighting another one in a large clearing. My eyes widened. I knew these groups! One was the Red Lizards and the other was Dark Knights. These were large enemy groups and some of the biggest rivals in this "game". It looked as if the Red Lizards had launched a suprise attack on the Dark Knights, because the Dark Knights camp was within sight. I snuck past the commotion, the screams of pain in the air. I couldn't afford to plug my ears and possibly miss some sort of sign that someone is getting close to me. I eventually reached the fort and managed to scale the wall. Now the tricky part. Lasers everywhere. "Great!" I muttered. This was going to be a ninja test. I jumped down and began winding my way through. I saw what looked like a storehouse up ahead. Suddenly a shadow popped out in front of me, shoving me backwards almost into a laser. "What the heck do you want?!" I recognized that voice! "Lilac?!" I quietly exclaimed. She stopped moving and whispered harshly, "How do you know my name?" "It's me, Kyle!" I heard a gasp before arms wrapped around me. I stood there a second before hugging her back. Our embrace was cut short by victory cries out front.
"Yeah! Get the heck outta her Red Lizard scum!"
"You'll never have a chance against us!"
"Come on!" I grabbed her arm, but felt resistance. She pulled back. "Why? I came to this fort to get supplies! I can't just leave." She started to run towards the wharehouse. I grabbed her shoulder and spun her around. "If you want to be captured and tied to a pole in the middle of this fort, then stay here." I paused. I had so easily referenced Blossom. Lilac was staring as if she too was confused at what I said. I continued. "But they are coming back! We have to leave!" She hesitated, then nodded. We ran through camp, dodging the lasers as fast as we could. The main gates were opening, so I grabbed Lilac and shovedd her through a little opening in the wall. She barley fit, and probably got some scrapes, but she got out. I doubted I would get through so I began scaling the wall. "Hey! Who is that up there?!" Dang it! I had been spotted. They pulled me down and put handcuffs on me. Lilac was gone. Good. She got away. They shoved my head down and started pushing me forward. Out of nowhere I heard this scream. Like a battle cry. The Dark Knights all jumped into battle, even the ones holding me. I fought against the metal, but to no avail. I just stood there. Someone from behind me grabbed my arm. "Get the hell off me!" I shouted at them. "Calm it Kyle!" I stopped struggling. A girl's voice. "Blossom?!" I exclaimed. "Yeah! Now we're even!" I turned around to face her. She smiled. "Look there she is!" Half of the enemy ran at us. "Shoot! We can't take them all on!" Blossom shoved me behind her as she drew in a huge breath and her eyes closed. "What are you doing?! We're gonna get killed!" Her eyes shot open and she rushed them, moving so fast I could barely see her. One by one they fell. She had defeated at least a quarter of them when her movements started to slow, until she just flopped down, taking in gulps of air. The soldiers took advantage of the situation running at her. She took in on another huge breath in and I thought she was going to start again but all that came out was, "Simon!!" I scooped her up as she said that and started running. Out of nowhere I heard screams behind me. I whipped around, almost dropping Blossom. I saw a dark haired 6 foot guy with a sword half his size fighting the people behind me. It was over in a second. He had finished them. "Cool! You defeated them so-" That was all I got out before he whipped around and pointed his sword at my throat. "Put Blossom down now, Dark Knight fool!" Blossom opened her mouth and croaked before I had a chance to say anything. "It's ok Simon! This is Kyle. He saved me from the camp I was in." Simon's eyes softened and he sheathed his sword. "Thanks for doin' that Kyle." He held his hand out and I took it. We shook hands. He turned to Blossom. "We should get back to Amy and Paul.  They'll be worried." She fell gently out of my arms to her feet. "Amy, Paul, Simon? You found a team in 7 days?!" She turned and smiled, almost guiltily. "Y-yeah!" I just stared. "Alright then..." I left the statement hanging. She turned and looked at Simon before nodding and turning back to me. "I gotta go...and um...yeah." I shook my head. "Yeah! Sorry! I should probably go too." I agreed. "But I still hope we meet again!" I grinned at get. "Me too." I jokingly bowed. "Until we meet again." She giggled and curtsied back. "Until we meet again." She and Simon left to go meet up with 'Amy and Paul'. I smiled after she was gone. I really hope we meet again. Even if I still think she's a little crazy. Then I stopped smiling. She had been telling the truth about the slow motion thing. During her fighting, it seemed she knew what they were gonna do before they did it. Unfortunately, now that she was gone, that was a mystery for another day.
