Moscow, Russia
Her name was Lindsey.
She was pretty.
I looked back as the guy at the front door looked down at his watch again.
Lindsey smiled back at me "Just a few more moments."
I nodded my head as Luka glanced over at me.
"Hey Christienne, relax."
I glanced down as my leg was shaking.
"I know it has been a while but dude, it will be ok."
Lindsey stood up with a smile as the door was pushed open.
"Come with me." Another girl said over to Luka and me.
I got up and followed Luka down the hallway.
The girl infront of us glanced back at us then kept on down the hallway.
I looked down at my hands as they were shaking even more than my legs.
"Sir, they are here."
"Send them in."
His Russian accent was thick as ever.
Luka was infront of me as I stepped in behind her.
The girl that brought us back to the room looked at me then was gone out the door.
Not a good sign.
I looked around Luka as his chair was facing the floor to ceiling window behind his desk.
"Running a business is hard work but controlling family is never accomplished."
Luka glared back at me.
I closed my eyes as I know I have done wrong.
"Everyone leave, I just want to talk to Christienne."
I looked back at his chair as Luka looked at me confessed.
"Everyone out." He said once more.
Luka dropped her head as she was out the door.
His chair moved a little, "Why are you over there Christienne?"
I didn't answer him as I walked over the desk.
He turned around as his brown hair was now grey.
He smiled up at me, "You look good."
"You look older." I smiled back.
He laughed as he got up and walked around to me, "One of my best still has her attitude."
I shook my head back at him, "What is going on?"
He looked down at me, "Right to the point?"
"Nicholas, I was pulled from my job to come back here."
"Your job is to be there. There is nothing more to that."
I narrowed my eyes back at him.
"Do you remember your job that I you were sent to do in the first place?"
