9 months later into the story...
"Wake up, girl! Wake up!" Someone shouted from a distance. I turn with a puzzled look on my face. "Hello?" I shout back. I sit up from the cold air mattress I sleep on, which isn't much, but it's way better than sleeping on the hard, cold concrete like I used to have to. Then, the door busted open. "Hey! I said come on. Don't you have ears?" The guy said. "Oh. I'm sorry, sir." I said trying my best to stand up. I mean, I'm 9 months pregnant, the least he could was help me up, but yet, he just stood there. I was tempted so hard to say something, but I kept my mouth shut. "Hurry it up, please." He said, crossing his arms. "Who are you?" I say proceeding to stand up. "Bitch, you know who I am." He says giving me the death stare. "No, sir... I don't believe I do." I say back without hesitation. "Robert?" He says coming closer. "Oh my. You've changed a lot." I say, shocked and confused. "Well, you haven't seen me in a year or so, and I've changed since then," Robert said, "I heard you were pregnant, and I am the dad so I thought I should come and help you." He finished with a cheap ass grin. "Let's go." He shouts. I follow without hesitation. Maybe he's changed? What a nice thought.
