Here we start with our first character, for now we will follow 'The Canine' till further notice.

'The Canines P.O.V.'

I woke up to the loud thumping of someone knocking on my door. Subconsciously lifting my greyish blonde wolfish ears, I sleepily tilted my head towards the door to see one of the officials at the door. Giving a wave as to show that I am in fact conscious I heard the soft thumps of their footsteps leaving my door. They didn't even say anything, of course. I've never really heard any officials speak.

Tugging my soft, thick, cotton comforter over my head a growl like groan of annoyance emitted from my throat.

I didn't have much motivation to get up. Granted I probably would anyway out of sheer boredom but that doesn't mean I wouldn't sleep in.

Really, I'm still waiting for that day when I get some sort of contact with someone, anyone, or even anything. It's so lonely here, I don't even know where here is, even though I do get a basic education, so I know how to read, do math, all those things.

When I ask about things like, are they're usually other subjects or, why does no one talk to me, the instructor, which is just a computer, responds pretty straight forwardly. Except on certain questions, like: "Where am I ?" and "Why can't I leave?" It creeps me out how it sometimes either doesn't respond, or replies with, "just wait" so as you could guess I stopped asking after some time, but I have been able to gather as much information as I could on this place.

I live in this, building, facility, castle thing. It's kind of bland, and I've never left.

Whenever I leave my room I'm escorted to whereever I have to be that day, and not much else. I try to memorize the routes and area but it's hard when there are so many different hallways, like a maze that's more simple on the outside than the inside. I hate feeling lost, I hate everything being taken care of for me, I HATE being so lonely. I just need at least one friend, someone to be with, to comfort, and be comforted by. Someone to have fun with, just one.

'Maybe if -' my thoughts were interrupted by another knock at my door. That's weird, they've only ever knocked once to get me awake. This was new! Greyish blonde canine tail lightly swishing I poked my head out from underneath my comforter, ears perked up curiously. I could feel my lips tug into a small curious smile, stepping out of bed, long greyish blonde hair probably a mess I went at a brisk trot over to the door of my relatively large room and popped the door open enough for me to look out.

It was one of the officials of course; they wore a white jump suit and bikers' helmet. Of course white except the glass covering their face is black. I have trouble figuring out a definite gender. All I have to go on is body structure so I just gave up solving that mystery after some time of wondering and asking.

The official held up a piece of paper, it read

"You have to be somewhere today, so follow the official."

-King Sariel

Of course it was him. I don't know why I just get so... ticked-off, by him. Don't even get me started on the rest of the royal family. To put it simply I've learned they're the people who actually keep me here...

Though, I guess I should just follow the official. Giving a nod and handing the note back to the official, followed up by quickly running into my room, changing, getting ready and brushing my hair and everything before going back out and giving a nod to show him I was ready to go.

They lead me through a series of turns and past quite a few doors. Eventually we reached a door, not much different from the others, next to it there was a silver plaque reading "Royal office'.' "Oh God please don't tell me this is going to have some royalty trash in there..."
