Chapter 22

We walked Naruto kept asking what the new technique was gonna be. Of course kept saying Pervy Sage instead of Jiraiya which irritated him. Jiraiya did an introduction and I ignored it and continued to walk.

After a while, we reached a place with bells hanging up which caught Naruto's attention. The wind blew making me catch the same chakra I sensed earlier. To me it was like warmth surrounding me. I missed him so much, but he's a rogue now. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. I opened them back up as I ate. I listened as Naruto played with the bells and I giggled.

" Hey Pervy Sage? What kind of student was the fourth Hokage?" Naruto asked and I turned to see that there were four of him. Of course. I rolled my eyes and turned to Jiraiya.

" Well, I think it's safe to say he rose to greatness because of my tutelage. So, to land me as a sensei, well kids lets just say you two hit the jackpot. Okay?" Jiraiya answered and I giggled as I rolled my eyes and finished up my food.

" Huh?!" All of the clones asked.

" Oh what? You don't believe me? A good sensei will always naturally beget good disciples. That goes without saying."

" So wait a second Pervy Sage if that's true, who did you have for a sensei?" Naruto curiously asked and I looked at the Pervy Sage in curiosity.

" Who? Me? I first studied under the third Hokage."

" The third huh?" I asked with a grin.

" Yup. This was back when the third Hokage was still a young spring chicken."

" The Hokage? A spring chicken?" All of the Naruto's asked in disbelief causing me to laugh.

" That's right. I was a young buck myself back then." He said with a chuckle.

" Young buck?!" All of the Naruto's exclaimed losing their footing causing him to rip down the bells and tumble to the bottom of the stairs. All of the Naruto's were gone and Naruto was tangled in the bells.

" What I tell ya? Those curses are no joke. So, wait a second. If you two studied with Kakashi that means you must have gone through the bell training. Am I right?"

" Huh? Yea, we did. I forgot about that." Naruto answered.

" Oh yea! I remember! You were the one that was tied to the pole! I cut you down and gave you my food!" I exclaimed with a laugh.

" What? You too huh?" Jiraiya asked confusing Naruto and my eyes widened.

" Huh? Me too?" Naruto asked.

" Uhh forget about it. Just put those things back where you got them." Jiraiya said as I snickered.

" You were tied to the post! You were tied to the post!" I sang in a whisper. He sent me a small glare and I snickered again. Jiraiya looked off into the distance and a minute later he let out a laugh. " What's so funny?"

" Yea, what is it?!" Naruto yelled jumping down from the railing where he put the bells back up. " What is it Pervy Sage?!"

" Huh? you know kid, just what I was saying before. A good teacher produces good disciples." He answered rubbing the top of our heads making our hair look messy. I pulled back and shook my head with a small giggle. Naruto went over to the bells to make sure they were fully back up and I fixed my headband.

Soon enough we reached a town. We went to a hotel so Jiraiya could get us a room. Of course, Naruto had to complain. A very pretty girl walked by and turned to look at us. She winked at Jiraiya and Naruto and both of them drooled. He handed me the room key and I sweat dropped. " Here's the room key. I want you two to go right up to the room, train for a little, work on your chakra, then get to bed okay?" I looked from the key to Jiraiya and then shrugged.
