Chapter 21 : Sorry ?

Grace's POV :

"Hey darling !" My mom said.
"Mom why are you dressed up ?" I asked.
"Oh I have a meeting !" She replied.
"Mom artists don't have so much of meetings !" I pointed.
"I know this wasn't a planned one!" She drank her coffee and handed me mine.
"Thanks" I replied. When are her meetings ever planned? I thought to myself.

"Mom you promised to join me for some shopping ?" I stated.
"Oops that totally slipped off my mind. Sorry babe next time." She took her bag and threw her keys in.
"But mom ? We haven't spent time in ages since you got back" she was really frustrating me. Screw George.
"Grace ! Enough with your drama , its not the end of the whole world. And I don't want you messing with me work!" She said and went out shutting the door behind.

"Grace ? Just ignore her alright!" Kat hugged me.
"Why is she so mean now? It's like I'm not important to her anymore " I replied and felt a tear rolled down my cheek.
"I wish I'd knew sweetheart" she stroked my hair.
"Sissy ? Come here !"Justin came out of his room and hugged me.
"You know when mom gets stressed out she goes off on everybody right?" He asked and I nodded.
"Well then that must be the reason!" He said smiling.
"Yeah..."

"I have to go now ! I sent a text to the girls, they'll be joining me for some shopping ." I pulled the coat over my body and waved.
"Be careful Grape !" He shouted back.

"My legs are hurting ! And these bags are so heavy!" I groaned plopping down at the food court.
"I know right !" Demi injected in.
"I love shopping!" Then there's Brittany.
It was Hayley's first date with this guy she met at this party. I still don't know his name. She's so lucky that she didn't have to go through this hell hole.
After Pigging out on the pizza we ordered. We all headed straight home.

"Hey guys !" Kat and Justin was watching a movie while mom was cooking food.
"Hey !" All of them said.
"Right guys ! The foods ready, now I have to go get ready !" Mom cleaned her hands and literally ran upstairs.
"What the hell was that about ?" I said throwing the bags on the floor and sitting down.
"She had a 'meeting' to go to !" Justin scoffed.
"Another one ?" I asked in a shocked tone.
"Apparently yes!" Kat said.
"Whatever I'm sick of her hiding shit from us!" I picked up the bags and went straight to my room.
Unpacking everything and putting them in its places.

"Sweetheart can I come in ?" Kay asked peeping in through the door.
"Of course" I replied.
"I wanted to talk you about something" she said clearing her throat.
"Okay shoot"
"Shane is here to meet you" she said and I flinched.
"Why him ? What does he want ?" I asked silently.
"To talk to you and patch things up" Kay said with her soft eyes looking directly at mine.
"He hurt me Kat" I said.
"I know but just talk it out without arguing please baby?"
"Okay tell him to come up" this is not gonna be good.

After sometime I heard a knock on my door.
"Come in" I called out.
"Hi" he said smiling
"Hey"
Ahm so ... How's life ?" He asked me.
"Take a seat Shane and I'm doing good i guess" I was totally lying.
"I'm sorry Angel" he whispered. Angel that was what he called me. All the memories just kept flooding in. I lost him but never the moments we had.

"It's fine. What happened happened Shane we can't change a single thing" I said sighing. But I just wish if I can go back and make everything right.

"I'm sorry too for going out on you that day... I wasn't feeling well and when I saw you everything froze. I thought that you would be my last but not how wrong was I ?" A tear escaped my eye and feel down my cheek.

"I was a dick I admit that but Grace I'm truly sorry. She was a mistake it was just a heat of the moment thing. My feelings for you was real my love for you was real angel but when I screwed up I knew that I wasn't gonna get you back no matter what that's exactly why I left. I couldn't look at you because I saw you hurt those beautiful eyes would never forgive me. I was dumb so dumb that I never realized how amazing you were. And I'm sorry for that I really am" he tried to fight back his tears but he failed. He loved me ? I thought it was one sided guess I was wrong.

"Your forgiven Shane can we start off fresh and remain as good friends?" I asked him.
"I was waiting for you to ask. Yes angel yes !" He said smiling.
"Cool" I smiled and he hugged me.

"Have you ever imagined where we would be if everything was perfect and none of this would have happened ?" He asked me.
"No did you ?" I asked.
"Yes you will still be mine but hey let's forget the past and move on with the future"
"Good idea Dora" I said winking.
"Jeez you still remember?" He asked laughing.

"Obviously how can I forgot your room being decorated with Dora wall arts and stickers oh and not to forget the Barbies" I said laughing. Oh good ole days.
"It was my sister's room before Grace ! You knew that" he said groaning.
"Whatever you say Dora" i fell in to fits of laughter and he joined me.

"I'm glad you both made up" Justin said playing with his phone.
"Yeah me too. It felt good you noh?" I said.
"It sure must have" he said laughing.
"I mean I Missed him so obviously you would miss him" he said with a really funny look.

"Can we play need for speed ?" I Asked him.
"Hell yeah !" He said grinning.
