Sasuke woke up to the stillness of his dark, unlit room. He turned to his left, lazily reaching out for the digital time-piece. The raven boy now sat up, leaning back in his opulent, king-sized bed; covered with navy-blue bed linen which has old-gold curlicues decorated at the bottom-right corner of the bedspread.

Furrowing his brows, the Uchiha stared at the bright numbers on the digital clock. It was still 4 in the morning. The solemn habit he was accustomed to since the day he entered this 'world of perfectionism'. Sasuke placed the digital device back to its place as he slid out of the covers to head to the bathroom. It was the second day after the accident.

'Yet, another troublesome day to get over with . . . ,' he scornfully thought, then stopped abruptly in his footsteps. What the idol saw was something that'd be the last thing he would believe exist. Being the typical guy he is, Uchiha Sasuke had never been superstitious nor has believed in any supernatural philosophy, but he was proved wrong.

Standing – no floating – right in front of the eyes of the raven was a pink-haired girl in a white dress. Sasuke wasn't frightened, but even this 'Ice king' would be taken aback at what he was witnessing.

Bewilderment, shock, disbelief and . . . . . denial. . . . . All these mixed emotions were felt all at once.

The girl was wearing off-white, sleeveless dress which reaches to her knees. The colleen was exactly 12 inches above the floor he was standing with her slender pale legs dangling down. It was that girl...

Pastel pink hair like those of the cherry petals, peridot gleaming eyes like two precious gems and a distinctively wide forehead - the features he wouldn't forget...., no.......couldn't forget about.

"Y-you!" the considerably 'King of kings' stuttered for the first time in his life. Of course he was. Who would've expected such surreal things actually do exist?

"You should be at the hospital. . . Why –,"

"The one with piles of questions is me, mister early bird. And I'm Haruno Sakura; 2nd year K.E.H scholarship student. I should really 'thank' your four-eyed driver for putting me in this situation . . . ," the girl spoke.

Her emerald eyes glittered in the dark. Despite the spacious room, Sasuke could feel the unwelcoming aura she was giving off, but shrugged whatsoever. He still had doubts about the whole unrealistic situation and needed to verify whether she's real or fake.

Without thinking, Sasuke reached out his hands to hers. . . . But science proved wrong to what's right in front of him.

There was a short silence between the two. Especially for Sasuke; not a single word came out from his mouth.

"Haahh –," the girl huffed sharply, loud enough to be heard, cutting the chilling silence. Both stared at each other – eyes met. A pair of glamorous green clashed with a pair of moonless ebony.

Then Sasuke sullenly –rather angrily– spoke up, "Why exactly is this happening to someone like 'me'!? Ugh! How frustrating! Ghost or n –,"

"Hey, I'm still alive. . . . ! Don't kill me off like that will'ya?" defended Sakura.

"Hn. If you want revenge you're picking the wrong person." answered the raven-head, with annoyance in his tone. He'd had enough. All the workloads, fake smiling, and noisy fans (A/N: eg; Karin). Maintaining his reputation was enough of a burden for him. Dealing with a ghost?

"I don't know how or why I'm at your place, but I was already here when I 'woke up'. . . And...... that guy he, . . . .he can't see me." The pinkette explained. The last statement caught Sasuke's attention again.

"You are the only person who is conscious of my existence. . . . .Believe it. . . . ."
