It was the worst day ever for the cherry after her accident. Guilt . . . was slowly eating her away. She should've known better about their situation.

"I -I'm sorry . . . , Sasuke-kun-"

"Just get out of my sight," Sasuke bellowed. He briefly shot a death glare at her over his shoulder.
"NOW...," he said, and tore his gaze from the pink-haired ghost.

Tears welled up in her green orbs as Sasuke's harsh words pierced through her heart like knives. Sakura clasped her hands together -bringing up to her chest- trying to keep in her sobs. But her beautiful eyes showed all the overflowing emotions. She stared at his back for a moment before mustering up the courage to speak again.

"I think . . . I'll go get some . . . fresh air," she said while faking a smile -her soft voice cracked and shaky -yet the raven remained cool and collected. He didn't care to turn and look at her hurt face.

Sasuke merely gazed out through the window on his left with his arms crossed. He unexpectedly witnessed Sakura's faint smile which reflected on the sheer glass. His eyes widened a millimeter but just for a mere 5 seconds. For some reason, the flames burning inside of him a while ago burned even more after seeing her teary-eyed. It wasn't anger, not at all, but that feeling made him uneasy; that fuzzy feeling . . .

Sakura's eyes were still set on his back, wearing a sad look. Her heart ached just by gazing at him from behind. She closed her eyes to prevent the tears. Sakura couldn't understand herself of why she wanted to cry that much. She thought maybe because Sasuke was her only savior? Or maybe because he was the one and only 'friend' she had in her ghost days? Either way, the inner Haruno shook all those thoughts out of her head.

Turning away from the Uchiha, Sakura headed to the thick frosted-glass twin doors at the entrance of the library. Sasuke was watching her from the corner of his eyes, without Sakura noticing it. She stopped just in front of the entrance doors to speak.

"I apologize for what I've done, Sasuke-kun. I promise it won't happen again . . ."

With that said, the pink-haired ghost passed through the glass doors leaving the boy behind.

An eerie silence took over once again. Sasuke fully changed his direction to the frosted-glass doors. He felt bad. Sasuke sucked in the air sharply before sighing out loudly again and again until the 5th time. That stinging feeling was still pricking him inside, somehow making him suffocate a little.

'What is wrong with me today!!??'

Sasuke felt something really off. He was unsatisfied with everything he did, which he never was before. Being solitary had always been the best for him rather than partying with others. It was always his best choice for relaxation. However, in the moment, Sasuke felt something was still missing still incomplete, and 'that something' was bothering him a lot. Then he remembered her.

He couldn't wipe off the memory of her sullen face. Although Sasuke didn't really care for her, his mind was mingled with complicated thoughts. He frowned again as he sighed and spoke through gritted teeth to himself, "Tsk! Why did I say that?! *pause* I should go after her." Without further contemplation, the Uchiha left the library to make a wild goose chase.

"Ompf -, K-K-Karin . . . I c-c-can't brea -," Suigetsu choked at his words when Karin squished him in a tight hug.

"KYAA!!! SUIGETSU CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS? From now on I'm going to be HIS GIRLFRIEND!!! (ノ*>∀<)ノ♡
OH MY GOSH, this isn't a dream is it? Come're," Karin exclaimed blissfully before pinching hard on Suigetsu's cheeks.
