Chapter 7 - Felt like Hell

Hey guys! Merry Christmas!  

Sorry it took so long. I'll tell you the reason why at the end of the chapter!

"Nice meeting you, Rose! Good thing on your on-time 'cause we're going to tour around the office building so you won't get lost and I'm going to introduce you to your co-workers." She said and I nod nervously. "Just give me a minute. I have to call someone in the HR department. You can sit in the lounge sofa."

"Yeah sure. Thanks." Then, went there and reviewed the files that Kate gave me on my email.

After a few minutes...

"Rose, you ready?" Kate called.

"Yeah, let's go."

"This is Rob, our Chief Financial Director. The one that handles all the expenses in the company." She said. "Rob, this is Rose. Mr. William's new secretary." 

"Good day to you, Rose." Rob greets and extended his arm. I heard a Australian accent in him and I gladly took and shake his hand. "Nice meeting you, Sir."

"I pray that you'll stay in your position for quite a while on the grounds because that boss of yours has a temper issue. You require diligence, young woman." says Sir Rob.

All things considered that stunned me! 

"Truly now, Sir? Try not to undermine, Ms. Standford. Try not to make her consider pulling out of her job." Kate expressed then snickered. "Don't you stress, Rose. I know you can do it! I can sense that you can deal with Sir William's temper!"

"Does he truly have a monsterous state of mind?" I asked apprehensively.

"I'll give you a chance to be the judge." Kate said. "How about we go meet the other staff, shall we?"

After some time in the workplace visit, we went straight to the floor where I was doled out.

Kate pointed a stall in the corner almost near a glass entryway. "Hey, here's your spot. It has a PC, printer and phone to fulfill your need. Likewise, you have an organizer under that drawer. Only adjoining your corner is Sir William's office."

I place my bag on the table. I turned and faced Kate, "Thank you, Kate. I'll call you if there is any problem or question needed to be answered." I utter.

"Okay! You have 20 minutes left to get ready. Sir William is coming here in a bit. Good luck, dear!" Kate grinned and strolled to the lift and sent me a wave before she entered the elevator's entryway.

I enjoyed Kate's well disposed attitude. Not like the other staff I met before, to disagreeable for my taste. Hope they won't mess with me! Okay, Rose, keep your cool!

20 minutes left? I snatched my bag and searched for my mirror to keep an eye on my make up. I simply re-apply my make up with a face powder and lipstick.

Couple of minutes later, I heard the lift dinged. Loud strides are coming. I stand too see who came and saw the most heavenly face I've seen all my life however his brow wrinkled. Do heavenly angels have that?!

I heard snapping of fingers which took me back to reality. Crap, it's Mr. William. Daydreaming your boss is a big no no! Ultimate facepalm, Rose!

"Earth to...?" Mr. William inquired.

"Uhmm.. Ms. Rose Standford, Sir." I answered.

"Earth to Rose! What's my arrangement throughout today?"

"Uhmm... I don't have the slightest idea, Sir." Shit, my cerebrum is going haywire!

"WHAT!? You're a secretary! You ought to carry out your job!" he yelled.

"I was not informed about it, Sir." I said.

"Did Kate educated you about my arrangements?" Sir William said

what's more, now he's rubbing his brow.

"No, Sir." I answered.

"Fuck. Is this your first day?"

"Yes, Sir. I'm sorry about this, Sir."

"No, it's alright. Go make me some coffee." he requested then he went straight to his office.

Poo, that was horrendous! Too much for a first day!

What kind of coffee does he need?! Fuck my life. All things considered, possibly I'll simply wing it.

Okay, so first of all, Merry Christmas, guys! This is my gift for all of you! You showed me unending love and support on my stories especially The Billionaire!

ReasonS why it took me a while to update is because:

1. School gave me bunch of work to do! It was the first month of the semester and we have to comply all the requirements the professor gave us! I didn't even get enough sleep and rest. :(((((

2. I feel pressured. I don't know why. Seriously, still trying to find the reason why I'm pressured.

3. Writer's block. It's a terrible thing!!! Gaaah no ideas are coming on my mind. It's like my brain is on a vacation. idekw.

So again, have a jolly Christmas! 

Well, I don't feel the Christmas vibes at all. THE CONS OF GROWING UP! -_____-
