Last Day of School

Aubrey's POV:

"Hi, Marcus!" I said as I gave him a hug.

"Hey, sweetheart!" Marcus responded.

"I was wondering if you wanted to go to this carnival that opened near the park?" I asked while letting go.

"Yeah, sure." He responded.

"Pick me up tonight, okay?" I demanded before walking to my next class. As I walked in I noticed that I was late. Even worse? This teacher is very strict. If your late to her class she'll have a fit and start to yell. It's funny when she gets mad that's why I'm always late to her class.

"Sorry I'm late, Ms. Crews. I forgot my history book." I lied.

"You always have an excuse, don't you Miss Wilson?" She asked. She knows me so well.

"It's not an excuse, Ms. Crews. I..." Ms. Crews interrupted me.

"I'm not in the mood for your games today, Wilson. Now sit down before I give you detention." She threatened. This is an everyday thing. I'm late. She threatens me. I sit down and mess with her even more. It's pretty fun. Anyway, as I sat down, she began to go on and on about what she's doing for summer break (it's the last day of school). Nobody cares about her summer plans. Really.

"I am going to Mexico with my husband and my two kids." She went on again.

"Shocking your married." I mumbled.

"What was that, Miss Wilson?" Ms. Crews asked.

"Nothing." I responded. She rolled her eyes and kept on going about her summer plans again. Thank God this is my last class until summer break.

I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. It was a text from my bestie.

"I can't believe she's married either. Lol" she text me. I looked over to my right and saw her staring at me with a smile. I text her back saying:

"Lol it must be a living hell being with her." I pressed send. I looked over at he and she started to laugh, and the whole class turned their attention to us.

"Is their a problem back there?" Ms. Crews asked. Uh oh. She came to the back of the class where we were sitting and grabbed my phone. She started to read our conversation. Busted.

"Oh so I give my husband hell?" She asked sarcastically.

"Uh.." I didn't really know what to say right now.

"Detention! The both of you!" She yelled.

"You can't give me detention! It's the last day of school!" I yelled back.

"I'm a teacher, I can do whatever I want. After school. Detention!" She yelled.

Oh great.
