As the bell rang, everybody ran out the classroom screaming with excitement. Me and Sabrina had to stay back for detention. I think that it's illegal to give someone detention on the last day of school.
"Okay, the first thing you can do Sabrina is hand me your phone." She stuck her hand out, waiting for Sabrina to give up the phone.
"No." She responded, crossing her arms.
"Miss Hills give me your phone now!" Ms. Crews she demanded.
"Actually, speaking of phones, I think my mom would get a kick out of this." Sabrina said before calling her mom. She held the phone to her ear and waited until she answered.
"Hey mom! You won't believe where I'm at right now!" She said sarcastically as she looked at Ms. Crews.
"I'm in detention." She said. I heard her mom all the way across the room. I'm guessing she's pissed off.
"Yeah, detention. Oh your on your way here?" She gave Ms. Crews an evil grin.
"Okay, bye." She hung up and walked towards Ms. Crew's desk.
"Here's my phone, biotch." She threw her phone at Ms. Crews. She knows how tough Sabrina's mom is. One time Sabrina got her phone taken away last week because she text her mom asking to pick her up after school, and her mom was so close to beating the shit out of her. That was the best school day ever.
"Your mom doesn't scare me, Miss Hills. There's nothing she can do about you being in detention." She smirked. I know deep down inside of that evil body of hers, she's scared.
"Sure you aren't." Sabrina said sarcastically before laughing and walking away.
A few moments later the classroom door flung opened and it was Sabrina's mom.
"WHY THE FUCK DO YOU HAVE MY DAUGHTER IN DETENTION ON THE FUCKING LAST DAY OF SCHOOL?!" She yelled. Damn, her mom doesn't play around.
"Well, your daughter was talking about me with her friend right there." Ms. Crews pointed at me. Umm.... don't bring me into this, Ms. Crews.
"I DON'T GIVE A FUCK! YOU DON'T KEEP MY DAUGHTER OR AUBREY HERE ONE THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!" She yelled. Omg I'm loving this moment right now.
"Alright, if it's such a big deal, then they can go." She semi yelled.
"I didn't need your permission. I was taking them anyway. Come on girls." Sabrina's mom demanded. We both walked behind her as she left.
"Oh, I almost forgot my phone." I jogged in the room and grabbed my phone off of her desk.
"Happy summer, bitch!" I yelled before jogging out of the room and catch up to Sabrina and her mom.
"Thanks Ms. Hills for getting us out of detention."
"No problem at all. Your like a daughter to me." We all jumped in her Lincoln Navigator and headed to the carnival.
When we arrived, I saw Marcus talking to Chris. I hoped out the car and thanked Sabrina's mom for the ride before they both left.
"Hey, Marcus." I ran towards him and jumped in his arms.
"Hey, Aubrey." He hugged back.
"Where were you? I was looking for you for about a half an hour ago."
"Sorry I was in detention, until Sabrina's mom handled it." I replied.
"How can you get detention on the last day of school?" Marcus asked.
"It's a long story, so lets just forget about it and have a great time." I responded.
"Sounds good to me."
