every time I had to walk by his lab in the ccpd I couldn't help but smile every one in a while he catches me and he smiles back and there will be a glint in his eye and I cant help but wonder if maybe I should tell him, but im just to afraid of the regection.

At the end of the day I left my lab to go home I saw barry with his head in his hands. Normal I would smile at him and keep walking but he looked real sad. He had his head in his hands
And I felt I couldn't just walk by him and not make sure he was okay.

I was shaky but I knocked on the side of the open door "hello, barry?" And I step inside a little "hello?" But he didnt answer so I made my way to where he sat and pulled a chair up "hey, barry" and he looked up this time smiling a little now "oh hey alex sorry I didnt here you I was..just thinking I guess."

I could tell something was bothering him but he didnt seem to want to tell me "well if you ever need to talk to me im here for you." I left with a bad feeling but I ignored it. I walked out onto the side walk and started my walk home.

I started to day dream about barry of course you know the usual I tell Jim how I feel and find out he feels the same way. I didnt notice the car coming ay me until it seemed to be to late.

Just as it was about to hit me someone wrapped their arms around my and got me out of the way but I landed about 20 blocks from the crash. When I saw who saved me I couldn't speak for a moment " b-barry..I mean flash, how did you know I was in trouble?" But he grabbed me again and we took off again.

We flashed back to Barry's lab and I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. "Hey barry, are tou sure your alright?" I asked hesitantly but barry kept passing with his head in hands, so I didnt something unbelievable. I ran up and grabbed his hand making him stop.

He finally made I contact so I started to ask him "how did you-" but he cut me off again "Cisco saw it in a traffic cam and warned me".

I stared at him for what felt like a long time b uhh t he started again "alex, there's something I need to tell you. For the longest time I thought id never find anyone like iris, but that was until I found you." I couldn't do anything I just stood there "what do mean, what are you talking about?."

He smiled a little "alex, I like you alot and I have a feeling you might feel the same way, but I know how hard that is to admit sometimes so ill say it...I like you alex I want to be with you" I didnt know what to say and it definitely showed "i- you- wha-but y-" then he cut me off with a soft but firm kiss and then he pulled away "so.." and I smiled "yea I like you to" and we kissed again, but this time it was more passionate than iv ever been kissed
