The Eternal Warrior Maiden

Wading into the black river

You catch my eyes

With your gleaming bow and quiver

You tell me to bid my final goodbyes

The bow pierced my heart

The moonlight flashed

My soul departs

My once meaningful life, smashed

I opened my eyes

To face the heavenly light

Gasping in surprise

The lights exquisite and bright

They spoke to me

A violently killed, innocent soul

I have a chance for eternity

So I re-enter, dumb as a new born foal

I rejoiced my return

Setting off to fulfill my revenge

No longer the gentle fern

My task complete, my life avenged.
