When suicide is the only option,
There needs to be no discussion.
The time has come for me to die,
It's time for me to take my life.
When all has been forever lost,
My life will pay for all the costs.
My tears will pour like endless rain,
I just need to end this pain.
If you could see into my mind,
Despair and darkness is what you'll find.
Suffering is all I know,
It will end before the 'morrow.
Suicide will be my saving grace,
Suicide will save the day.
The world and I both want me gone,
Once I'm dead, we'll both have won.
Thoughts of suicide run through my head,
There's never a moment when I don't wish I was dead.
You laugh as you tease me, cause me to be depressed,
Would you be sad once I sleep amongst the dead?
When you believe that suicide is the only option,
There should always be a calm discussion/
Don't be foolish and try to be like me,
You'll just cause another tragedy.
Whenever you feel like you want to die,
Don't be afraid to save your life.
Call for help to save yourself,
Talk to someone; it might help.
Talking never helped me; I like to think alone,
Get some help because you aren't alone.
But for me, suicide was the only option,
I never wanted to have a discussion.
The time came for me to die,
So gladly, I took my life.
*Now if you read the end of the poem, there's a message. Take my advice and don't you dare turn to suicide, alright? You may not know it, but there are so many people who love you. Even the ones you have no clue exist. If you ever feel that impulse to kill yourself, go talk to someone about it. Just know that suicide is most definitely NOT an option and is never an escape from life. There are many different ways to escape from the difficulties of life. Rant online. Talk to friends about your problems. Punch pillows. Listen to your favorite band/artist. Do something you enjoy doing. Yell mean things at clouds. Just know that there are people there for you.*
