Clang!
Thunk!
SMASH!
"Ugh! You stupid Holy Knights!" I growled, slicing another Knight in half. I'd been travelling near Baste Prison when I was ambushed by around a hundred soldiers, over half of which were Holy Knights. I wielded only my scythe, Regulas, and my reflexes.
"Surrender, Ultimate Sin! You'll never leave this place alive if you don't give in!" One yelled, running forward with his rapier held high. I let him get close, and he slashed his sword across my chest, but the blade simply broke. I just smiled.
The man took a step back, a horrified look on his face. Before he could bolt, my hand shot out and grabbed him around his throat. I lifted him off his feet.
"You don't get it, Dear. I am the Ultimate Sin, you said so yourself. You couldn't even kill little ole Ban in that prison...What makes you think you can even scratch me?" I hissed, crushing his throat. I tossed the body to the ground. The twenty or so remaining soldiers geared up for another attack.
"I don't have time for this, I'm supposed to be somewhere soon and you stupid knights are slowing me down." I grunted, waving my hand in a violent arc. The soldiers began to float up into the air, screeching in alarm. Due to the fact they'd never been in a weight-less zone, they had no idea how to move around.
"It's her first magic ability! The ability to create weight-less zones, called 'Wings'!" One Holy Knight yelled.
"Thank you for that useless bit of information. Now, if you don't mind, I'll be getting along with my life." I raised my other hand.
"Her second magic ability, Shadow Puppet!"
I rolled my eyes at the talking encyclopedia and flicked my wrist. Shadows sprung up from the ground and impaled each knight multiple times, piercing through their armor effortlessly.
The bodies dropped to the ground and I stole the cloak of a woman. It was relatively tattered, but the hood covered most of my face. I took her sword and sword-belt as well, and hung it loosely around my hips.
"On to the prison!"
---
My metal boots clicked against the stone floor. I'd already found the Fox Sin's cell, but he'd escaped.
I was currently working on breaking the Eternal Sealing Spell that had trapped us all in here. Before I finished, the whole damn place started shaking.
"If I don't break this barrier, everyone inside will be crushed by the rubble!" I realized. A few strategic taps later and the whole barrier began to disappear.
Although, the floor dropped from beneath my feet and I was sent flying backwards toward the center of the destruction. I slammed into a wall and slid down it, landing on my feet on the floor. I lost my balance - a rare thing for me - and the next thing I knew, I was lying on the ground, pinned under a large section of wall. My legs and hips were completely trapped! A scream of pain ripped from my throat, and I blinked, trying to clean the dust from my eyes. My screams quieted to whimpers and an occasional yelp as I tried to wiggle out from under the stone slab. But with my legs undoubtedly broken, it was significantly harder.
"Need some help, kid?"
~Ban's POV~
Captain, Diane, Princess and I had made it out of the collapsing fortress with no problem.
"Ya know, it's really good to see you two ag-"
A woman's scream cut me off.
"I wonder what that's about..." Captain said, sounding like he didn't have a care in the world.
