Chapter tres: Cheater Cheater Best Friend Eater
It was lunch time and after lunch I had a class with Connor. I shook the idea of being in the same class as Connor and took my lunch tray filled with healthy foods such as a fruit salad and water. I sat in front of my friends and glanced up at Olivia seeing that she was looking down at her food. I shrugged it off and continued eating, not really caring much about their conversations or how Olivia was acting strange.

"Artemis!" Emily called and I looked at my beautiful best friend and smiled softly.

"Yes?" I responded, she looked nice today, with her long curly hair and hazel brown eyes; she was wearing a long sleeved pale yellow dress that showed off all of her curves, the dress reached up to her knee and nude flats. My best friend is beautiful and just because I say she's beautiful doesn't mean I'm gay.

"Are you okay?" Emily asked looking at me and I nodded.

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" I asked.

"Oh well geez I don't know, you haven't eaten anything!" she exclaimed while pointing at my not eaten fruit salad (yummy yummy). I frowned, so I was just eating air? I sighed.

"Well you know Connor?" I asked and she nodded while smiling.

"The totally hot new kid?" She said while twirling a strand of long curly hair.

"Yeah and he's not that hot." and before she could argue I continued, "I bumped into him yesterday and today and he called me silver and I don't know why but I just snapped at him and it wasn't that intense but I still feel like I was jerk." I can be really stubborn and rude sometimes but then I feel really guilty. I looked at my best friend wanting advice and she just looked at me like so what.

"Artemis, Connor may be hot but the way you described that he sounds like a total jerk so don't get so worked up." Emily said and I nodded.

"Yeah, your right I shouldn't get worked up he deserved it." I smiled feeling better now and she smiled too.

"Of course I'm right!" Emily exclaimed and I chuckled softly

"Thanks Em. I love you." I smiled and hugged her.

"Yeah, yeah I know you do." she smiled back, "are you gonna eat that salad?" she said looking at my salad and I shook my head.

"Nope," I said while popping the p, "all yours." I handed the salad to her and she smiled and got a forkful of salad. I took a sip of my water and  twenty minutes later the bell rang. I got up from my seat and threw my empty water bottle away and grabbed my backpack that was lying next to me over my shoulder and walked to the class that I had with Connor.

I sat in the back looking straight ahead. Did I mention that I had this class with Olivia, no, oh well I do. I looked at the door waiting for Olivia to come in instead a curly hair Connor walked in. I immediately looked down at my paper and I heard footsteps coming my way and I cursed under my breath.

"Hey," a familiar voice said and I sighed thankful that it wasn't him. I looked up at her and smiled.

"Hey Olivia." I said looking up at her she looked sad.

"Is anyone sitting next to you?" she asked and I shook my head and she say down dropping her stuff to her left. I turned so I can face her, she looked sad.

"How are you?" I asked and she sighed deeply.

"I'm well." I frowned, she hesitated.

"Just well?"I asked worriedly, "because you don't look well Olivia. What's wrong."

"I cheated on him." I looked at her confused then I realized it. Olivia cheated on my male best friend and I clenched my fist and turned away from her. Moments ago they were talking and laughing but she did seem a little off today even though I wasn't talking with them I could tell.

"With who." I said not looking at her.

"With Mark," she said softly and I clenched my fist making my knuckles white.

"You cheated on my best friend with his best friend!" I yelled which caused heads to turn to us, "I thought you were better then that Olivia! You don't cheat on someone especially with their best friend!" I turned away not to look at her, "get out of my face and my life! I can't even stand to look at you." I felt betrayed for Jackson, jackson was so happy with her. So how could she do something like this.

"Artemis... Please..." by the way her voice cracked I could tell that she was on the verge was crying. "I didn't mean to!" I scoffed.

"How do you not mean to cheat on someone! That's like me going to som one and kissing then say oh sorry I didn't mean to!" I looked at her and gritted my teeth. She stayed quiet and I took in a deep breath. "What happened Olivia."

"I was hanging out with Mark at his place and we were both pretty flirty with each other and next thing I know we were kissing and on his cou-" I lifted my hand not wanting to know more.

"Stop," she shut her mouth and looked down, "I'm so disappointed in you Olivia. You made him so happy and cheerful. You need to tell him and hopefully he'll forgive you." at this her eyes widened.

"I can't tell him! He'll break up with me!" She looked like she was about to cry.

"I think it would be a good thing if he does." I said softly looking at her, "if he stays with you he will just be an idiot."

"I love him Artemis," she said closing her eyes, "I can't lose him."

"Olivia if you loved him, you wouldn't have cheated on him." I said and with that I turned to face the board and that's when the teacher came in.
