3 years later Wrestlemania 2023
I couldn't ask for a better life than the one I had...I had 3 beautiful healthy children Camden was now 7 1/2 and in 2nd grade, Noah was 6 and in kindergarten....and my sweet baby girl my little Avery was nearly 3...as for our friends Jon and Sarah now have 4 year old Kaleb and 2 year old twins Tristan James and Sophia Jane...Joe and Amber had now 14 1/2 year old Hayley, 4 year old Katlyn, and 1 year old Ryder Leati...and my baby sisters Aurora was 16 1/2, Murphy was 14 1/2 and Vaughn was 12 1/2...tonight was the annual WWE Hall of Fame and it was huge for my family tonight my dad was being inducted and I was getting to induct him along with Kevin, Shawn, Scott, and Sean...and it was a family affair...everyone was ready as I finished putting Avery's bow in her hair "There go tell daddy you're all ready."
Avery jumped down with a giggle as her dresses poof ed out "Daddy we weady!!!"
I laughed as she ran out...I wore a black knee length quarter sleeve lace dress with killer heels my hair was down in big loose curls..I walked out seeing my family "We ready?"
Seth kissed my cheek "You look beautiful.."
I smiled "Thank you.."
He smiled "Let's go.."
I nodded and we left....I sat with Colby and our kids for most of the show until it came time for me to introduce my dad...Shawn, Scott, Kevin, and Sean were out first
Shawn spoke "To induct The Game no one could do it but the girl who knows him better than anyone his first baby girl his reason for even stepping foot in this business...Taylor Leigh!"
My music hit which I must say I missed dearly...I walked out to cheers and hugged my uncles before standing at the podium "I am my dad's biggest fan...this company has been a part of my life since I was just a small child...I've seen my dad grow from this newbie jobber to the legend he is now....I've had the honor of taking part in some amazing storylines with him...the highlights of my career.." I paused taking a breath "My dad kept me away at first he thought this tiny little girl had no place backstage at a WWE show...my first taste of this company came when DX started finding their niche and I was hooked...in those years I saw my dad differently in a good way....he shaped me into the wrestler I became...he gave me the tools and I ran with them...as a wrestler had the honor of fighting him...I stood by his side in one of the best factions this company has ever had...as a daughter I had the honor of having him as my father and having him as the grandfather to my children....so as a daughter let me introduce you to the man, the legend, The Game, The Cerebral Assassin, your inductee into the Hall of Fame class of 2023..my dad...my hero Triple H!"
Dad walked out to his music and pulled me into a hug and whispered "I love you kiddo."
I smiled softly "Love you too dad.."
He kissed my cheek and walked to the podium
I stood watching my dad give his speech until he pulled me back to the podium "Dad."
Dad smiled "I owe my entire career to this girl...I became a father very young and I did what I could to care for her...I love my girls with all I have with all my heart...my oldest grandson found some of my old dvds when he was visiting during Christmas...he was in awe that I was a wrestler like his father...that I had on a few occasions fought his dad...Camden looked at me and said 'Papa you're like Superman..you make people happy and you help them...if I can't be like my dad I want to be like you Papa' I know my girls look up to me even as an adult and teenagers but to hear your 7 year old grandson tell you that you're his hero means the world me...my family is why I did this until I couldn't anymore...my wife, my children, my grandchildren is what makes this night even better that they are here with me...thank you everyone!"
I smiled and kissed his cheek...after the ceremony I stood talking to a few of the Divas with Avery on my hip unlike her brothers she wasn't much for crowds..she had her favorite people outside of the family like her Uncle Dean and Uncle Joe...she adored John, Trinity, Jonathan, Josh just to name a few..I felt my phone buzz in my hand...I checked it to see a tag from Colby...a picture of me and Avery...Avery smiling up at me and me smiling at her with Trinity, Saraya, and Sarona *My beautiful girls...I'm a blessed man* I smiled softly before long we took the kids back to the hotel and got them to bed..I took a shower and changed into an old tshirt and shorts...I pulled my hair up in a bun as I crawled in bed with my husband "I'm exhausted..."
Seth smiled "You did good tonight baby.."
I snuggled into his side "Thank you.."
He kissed my temple "You're welcome baby..."
I smiled "Yeah.."
Seth smiled "Good night babe."
I smiled "Night.."
He pressed a light kiss to my lips then turned off the lamp
I smiled to myself and slowly drifted off to sleep
