*Taylor's pov*
About a month had passed...telling my mom, stepdad, and brothers was easier while they weren't thrilled they accept my decision to not annul it and they like Colby so it was a plus..today Colby and I flew up to Greenwich to talk to my father surprisingly Colby was rather chill about this me I was a nervous wreck...I found myself twirling my rings around my finger looking out the window of our rental "I can do this go back to the hotel."
Seth reached over taking my hand in his "Relax babe..you assume the worst it will be.."
I sighed "24 years I've known that man...this won't be pretty."
He nodded "Its not like we planned it...we got drunk we made a rash decision...I don't regret anything..you're my wife.."
I nodded "You just don't know his temper Colby.."
Seth looked at me as we stopped at a stop sign "And I'll deal with it for you..."
I sighed "Colby.."
He leaned over pressing his lips to mine "I love you.."
I smiled softly "I love you too.."
Seth smiled and kept driving...eventually we made it to my dad and stepmom's..he looked at me as he turned off the car "Ready?"
I took a deep breath and nodded "Yeah.."
We got out of the car he took my hand as we walked to the door..he kissed my hand "Relax.."
I went to knock when the door opened coming face to face with my step-mother.."What's wrong?"
Stephanie sighed "He knows...your mom called."
I took a deep breath "Office?"
She nodded "It might be smart if Colby stayed down here."
I nodded looking at Colby "I'll be okay.."
Seth nodded "Okay.."
I gave his hand a little squeeze then took my wedges off at the foot of the stairs..I took a deep breath and walked upstairs slowly..I knocked lightly before walking into my dad's office "Dad."
Dad looked at me "Sit down...now."
I sat down "I can explain.."
He shook his head "Vegas...you got married in Vegas...to a guy you barely know..a guy you've been seeing a few months...what the hell were you thinking Taylor Leigh..this could ruin you're whole life...you're career."
I sighed "I'm happy daddy...for the first time in I don't know how long I'm genuinely happy..Colby doesn't care about all this about who you are..about Stephanie..he loves me for just being me..."
Dad rubbed his face "You're 24 Taylor."
I nodded "I know..but daddy I'm not a little girl anymore..I'm adult enough to know what I've gotten myself into..I'm ready to learn if I can make this work..."
He sighed "You're my baby...my first born...the reason I chose this lifestyle why I became a wrestler to take care of you..I'm not ready to let you go..I'm not ready to let another man take care of my daughter."
I stood up walking around his desk..I wrapped my arms around his neck "I love you daddy...nothing is ever going to change that..nothing."
Dad rubbed my arm "I don't want you hurt.."
I nodded "I trust him...you should too.."
He nodded "Guess I should talk to him huh?"
I nodded "Yea.."
Dad noddes "Send him in."
I kissed his cheek "I love you dad."
He nodded "Love you too kiddo."
I nodded and walked out...I walked into the living room "Colby he wants to talk to you."
Seth stood up "Uh okay.."
I gave him a small smile "Its okay.."
He kissed my cheek then headed upstairs
I sat down "He's okay.."
Stephanie nodded "So our girl is married now?"
I nodded "Trust me I've been freaking out about this..telling dad..."
She smiled "Well Colby and I talked...he obviously loves you dearly...he cares a lot about you...its in his eyes how genuine he is.."
I smiled softly "I love him.."
Stephanie smiled "Good.."
We sat talking for a while even going into the kitchen until I saw Colby walking in with my dad I raised an eyebrow "Everything okay?"
Dad nodded "Yeah...I'm still not happy about the whole Vegas thing but I'll get over it..one day when you're ready I want to throw a proper wedding...all of us."
I smiled "I'd like that.."
He smiled "Okay.."
After hanging out with my family for a while and having dinner Colby and I went back to our hotel..I walked out ready for bed "Are you going to tell me what you two talked about?"
Seth looked at me with a smile "Why do you want to know?"
I walked to the bed "Kinda want to know how bad my dad threatened my husband.."
He grabbed my hand pulling me closer burying his face in my stomach "Husband...I like that title."
I ran my fingers through his hair "Me too.."
Seth looked up at me "So how are we going to handle this?"
I sighed "My career is still very important to me.."
He nodded "I don't want you to give it up for me.."
I nodded "I'm staying on birth control...so don't get your heart set on any little Lopez spawn."
Seth nodded "We'll just keep doing what we're doing..married or not I'm not ready for kids.."
I nodded "And I want to sell my apartment.."
He nodded "Okay...I know we agreed to stay in Tamp while in FCW..but.."
I raised an eyebrow "Davenport?"
Seth nodded "So?"
I sighed "What kind of wife would I be if I said no."
He smiled "Really?"
I nodded "Yes.."
Seth leaned up pressing his lips to mine.."I love you."
I smiled "I love you too."
He pulled me down on his lap "I know.."
I shook my head "You changed the subject.."
Seth chuckled "We had a good talk...he threatened that if I hurt you he'd castrate me...I assured him I wouldn't."
I let my teeth graze below his ear "You should be more concerned what I'll do.."
His grip tightened on my hips "Damn it baby..I'm trying to be serious."
I smiled against his neck "Enough..."
Seth moved pinning me to the bed "I love you.."
I smiled pushing his shorts down his hips "I love you.."
He growled "Fuck babe.."
I crashed my lips to his as clothes hit the floor....I didn't care about much else but making love to my sexy husband...
