*Taylor's pov*
Things were great we were planning this vow renewal..I was in a new storyline with my dad something known as The Authority which was dad, Stephanie, Glen, and myself but the guys acted as enforcers...this was going to be fun...but tonight I had my first title match even though I knew the outcome I was concerned about putting on a good match...I was dressed in my ring gear which was black pants with rips down the thighs and a fitted cropped vest that had a lace back and a pink bralet under it creative was determine to keep my ring gear as feminine as they could but still keeping to the theme the Shield had...I sat in the corner with my earbuds in listening to music..I closed my eyes leaning my head back against the wall...I was stretched and ready but I needed to clear my head completely..I opened my eyes when I felt someone nudge my foot...I pulled my earbuds as I saw my dad "Hey.."
Dad sat beside me "Care to explain why you're in this hallway alone?"
I sighed "I needed to be alone...clear my head.."
He nodded "Big night for you...for our family...."
I nodded "I'm terrified Dad...what if I don't make this a match stand out.."
Dad nodded "People are going to have their eyes on you Taylor..you're my daughter they expect you to come out like me...don't do that sweetheart...I want you to channel the woman me and your mother raised you to be...I trained you to put it all in that ring...do that tonight..give them a reason to have their eyes on you not because of who you are but of what you do in that ring."
I layed my head on his shoulder "You always know what to say to make me feel better."
He chuckled "That's what dad's are for kiddo.."
I smiled softly "Have you talked to Colby?"
Dad chuckled "I did..he told me about his mom pestering you two to have kids."
I nodded "It's not something we're ready for..I want that yes just not right now..I'm kinda content with my fur child for now."
He laughed "I'm perfectly alright with waiting to be grandpa."
I smiled "Mom said the same thing.."
Dad chuckled "So how you feeling about this storyline?"
I looked up at him "Working with my dad...I'm loving it."
He looked up seeing Colby walking over "I'll see you before your match kiddo.."
I smiled "Okay..."
Dad kissed my temple then stood up walking off
Seth took his spot "You okay?"
I laced my fingers with his "Yeah..."
He nodded "You had me worried when you disappeared..."
I nodded "I've been thinking.."
Seth looked at me "About what?"
I brushed my thumb across his hand "Our future..."
He nodded "What do you mean?"
I smiled "I want to try and start a family.."
Seth looked at me "Now?"
I shook my head "In another year..I know we talked about the whole 5 year thing but I don't want to wait that long."
He gave me a smile "Whatever you want baby its yours..."
I leaned over pressing my lips lightly to his "I love you..."
Seth smiled "I love you too.."
I sighed softly "You are coming out to the ring with me right?"
He nodded "That's what the script says plus I'm going to cheer my wife on..."
I laughed as he stood up pulling me up with him "Good.."
Seth smiled "Cmon.."
I smiled as we walked off...before long it was my match as scripted dad and Stephanie were a out here with the Shield...I knew April was tough I had many matches with her in FCW..a few when I made my main roster debut...tonight I was going for her title...I was on my knees holding my ribs watching as she skipped around...in one swift movement I swiped her legs out from under her with my own leg..I went on the attack...when we both got up she came at me but I easily ducked when she turned I hit a super kick then quickly put her in my submission...I applied more pressure causing her to scream out "Tap!!"
Aj screamed "No.."
I applied more pressure eventually April tapped...when the bell rang I pushed her away and sat back on my knees watching as she rolled out of the ring...I slowly stood up with the red holding my ribs as he lifted my arm
Lilian got on the mic "You're winner and the new WWE Divas Champion..Taylor Leigh!"
I laughed as the guys stormed the ring and pulled me into hugs
Seth spoke against my ear "I love you baby.."
I smiled softly "I love you too.."
He stepped back as Dad walked up
I just walked into my dad's arms "We did it Daddy."
Dad stepped back taking my face in his hands "No kiddo you did it..I gave you the tools but you made this happen.."
I smiled "I love you dad.."
He kissed my forehead "I love you too sweetheart."
I smiled as Stephanie and Dad raised my hands...when we got backstage...I finally got to breathe..I had to sit down and really look at what I had done...my first major title...while I held winning the the women's titles in FCW this meant more to me...
Dean chuckled "You okay Tay?"
I looked up and nodded "Just need a minute.."
He sat beside me "That was one hell of a divas match Tay...you and April killed it out there...there were moves I've never seen many female do in this company...you can definitely see who trained you."
I smiled "Yeah..."
He smiled "Better go get those pics done..."
I nudged him then got up to go take the pictures for the site...I took my sweet time showering to unwind...when I got out I dressed in sweats and a tshirt...I pulled my hair into a messy bun....I was packing my bags when I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist and scruff against my neck "Colby.."
Seth smiled against my skin "I get to take the Divas Champ home tonight..."
I smiled "Is that so?"
He nodded "Mhm...and we're celebrating tonight."
I bit my lip "Then we better hurry..."
Seth nodded "Joe and Jon are already at the car I came to get you."
I smiled as I zipped up my bag "Let's go"
He nodded and picked up my bag "Cmon.."
I nodded and we left...once at the hotel we had our personal celebration
