Unexpected Love

Chapter 4

Xiumin's POV

"What is that?" I asked to Jae seok and Hee joo's friend who was beside me. "N-n-n-nothing. I-i-its just o-o-our last per-formance." She stutters. "Calm down. I'm not going to hurt you. I'm Hee joo's-" She cut me off. "Cousin. I know. I'm Kwon Min young, Hee joo's room mate, and I'm the same age as Jae seok. So, Hee joo is kinda like my little sister." She explains. I just nodded.

"How old are you?" I asked her. "23 years old." She replied. "We're the same age then?" I said with a chuckle. She smiled and nodded. 

"Are you Jae seok's girlfriend?" Kris asked her. She turned flustered and looked around. "I wish I could be. But, unfortunately, I'm not." She sadly confesses. We just nodded. "I thought you are. Both of you seem to be fit for each other." I said. She looked at me and blushed. 

"People said the same but, we're not to be." She said sadly and smiled. Then, I saw Hee joo came into the building with Jae seok. Hee joo wore a denim jacket, a white t-shirt and a black pants with a pink cap. Her hair was loose and wavy at the bottom part. Jae seok wore a military jacket with the same pair of pants and wore a black shirt behind the jacket. He wore a silver cap for the look. 

"How do we look?" Jae seok asked. "You look great Jae seok." Min young complimented. "Thanks babe." Jae seok said a wrapped his arm around Min young's shoulders. 

"Woo. Someone is in love." Hee joo teases Jae seok and Min young. Then she whistled. Both of them blushed and looked at each other. They smiled and hugged each other. 

"Wooooooooo." Hee joo teases them. I held Hee joo's arm and shook my head. She pouted and folds her arms together. "You're a unbearable, Min seok oppa." She blurted out. "Five minutes left." She said. Jae seok broke the hug and tucked Min young's hair behind her ear. "I'll be back." He said and kissed her forehead. "I know." She said. 

"The last performance is the university's special event which is the 'Dance Battle' between sixteen students, which are stand for four boys and girls." One of the DJs announced. 

"It is almost starting. Let's go." Hee joo pulled Jae seok arm. He smiled and they went up the stage together with the other dancers. 

Hee joo's POV 

I went up the stage with the other students and my twin brother and sister,  the DJs, announced. "As usual we'll have to let the boys and girls compete to each other. First, only two boys and girls will be out of the battle if they're tired or show any signs of them gave up. After that, one boy and girl will be out. There's only left is the only two contestants and there will be a special guest will be competing each other. It's a secret and no one know about it. So let the battle begins!!!."

Then, the song started. The first song was SNSD's 'I got a boy', which was mean the girls first move. We started to dance as the song started. When we were about to finish the choreography, then the song of EXO's 'MAMA' started. I saw two of the girls gone from our side, and the boys too after their dance. The song changes into an old-school music. Only twelve left. Both of the groups send one of the members, one on one. 

After I've shown my moves, I gestured Jae seok yo take on my challenge. He nodded as a response . He shuffled, made a spin and he gesture one of his friends to held out his hand low until his knee. Then, he walked backwards and ran to his friend. He stepped at his friend's hand and made a backflip and made made a victory gesture. I gasped and nodded because I got competitive.

One by one our teammates started to gave up and it were only me and the Protocol Warriors' member Park Jimin. Then, my twin siblings announced. "Let us invite the 'Dancing Machine' from EXO which Kim Jong in a.k.a Kai. What is your decision?" The spotlights pointed to Kai. Both me and Jimin looked at each other.
