Dark Side (part 2)

Two cars are at the edge of the bridge ready to fall once I arrive. I watch in horror as Steve rushes over to sound of a women screaming. I rush after him and just as he grabs the bumper and tries to pull the car back up the bumper falls off and both cars go over. Thor comes out of no where and flys down to the cars. Steve jumps down and hangs onto the bridge as Thor throws up the women. Steve catches her arm.
"I got you! Just look at me!" Steve said as he pulls her up to the bridge I grab her hand and pull her up. Once she's on the bridge and Ultron drone runs toward us.
"You can't save them all, you'll never-" it said as Steve throws his shield at the drone and shield is stuck in the drone. I feel the ground crack below me. And next thing I knew I was hanging off the bridge. I watched as the Ultron drone was pushed off the bridge.
"Never" what? You didn't finish!" Steve yelled.
"STEVE!" I screamed as I felt my hand begin to slip, "HELP!" Steve rushed over and tried to reach to me. I barley grazed his finger tips.
My hand slipped and I began to fall. "MADISON!" Steve yelled loudly as I closed my eyes tightly waiting for the impact and my death but it never came. I opened my eyes a little bit to see Thor was holding me tightly. We landed on the bridge and Thor dropped the car. On to the bridge. I felt sick after flying upward.
"What were you napping?" Steve asked Thor as I ran over and hugged Steve. I was lucky to be alive. Me and Steve ran over to help Natasha. She was fighting a few robots. I used my powers to destroy 5 at once. Steve kicked up his shield and Thor hit it making it fly into multiple drones.
"Thor" I heard a deep voice as I looked up to see Ultron fly down to Thor and pick him up, "you're bothering me."
"THOR!" I screamed but they couldn't hear me. I quickly picked up a vision of Clint needed some help. So I speed my way over to him. I took out a few robots. A large THUD! Made me turn my head to see Wanda push open the door to the house and she used her powers to destroy multiple robots near Clint. I ran over to her and we mixed our powers together and destroyed three of them. Clint turned and nodded to us.
"All right, we're all clear here" Clint said into the ear piece as I kicked a head of a drone across the road.
"We are not clear!" Steve answered, "we are very not clear!"
"All right coming to you" Clint said as Pietro ran toward us. Pietro picked Wanda bridal style and I hopped onto his back.
"Keep up old man!" Pietro called after Clint as he ran away. I couldn't help but laugh.
"Don't be mean" I said hitting his shoulder.
"Whatever" Pietro said smiling. Pietro stopped, me and Wanda jumped off his back and defended a few police officers who were fighting a few drones.
"Hold your fire!" One officer said but one shot and hit Pietro's shoulder.
"I'm going to Rogers and Romanoff!" I said before speeding away and stopped when I got to where Natasha and Steve were. I breathed heavily.
"Next wave is gonna hit any minute" Steve said, "what do you got Stark?"
"Huh? Nothing great. Maybe a way to blow up the city. That'll keep it from impacting the surface, if you guys can get clear" Tony said making my heart skip a beat.
"I asked for a solution, not an escape plan" Steve said.
"Impact radius is getting bigger every second. We're gonna have to make a choice" Tony said.
"Cap, these people are going no where. If Stark finds a way to blow up this rock-" Natasha started but Steve interrupted her.
"Not till everyone's safe" Steve said.
"Everyone up here versus everyone down there? There's no math there" Natasha said.
"I'm not leaving this rock with one civilian on it" Steve said.
"I didn't say we should leave" Natasha said as me and Steve turned to her, "there's worse ways to go. Where else am I gonna get a view like this?"
"Glad you like the view, Romanoff. It's about to get better" said someone on the radio. A large Helicarrier rose from the clouds making my jaw drop.
"Wow" I whispered looking at the large aircraft.
"Nice, right? Pulled her out of mothballs with a couple old friends. She's dusty, but she'll do" said the person.
"Fury, you son of a bitch" Steve said making me smile.
"Ooh! You kiss your mother with that mouth?" asked Fury jokingly as smaller aircrafts came out of the Helicarrier. They were like life boats. We could put civilians onto it.
"This is SHIELD?" Me and Pietro asked smiling.
"This is what SHIELD is suppose to be" Steve said smiling as Pietro chuckles.
"This is not so bad" he said smiling as he pulled me into a hug.
"Let's load them up" Steve said as I heard a kid scream.
"I'll be back" I said as I ran listening for the child's cries.
"Hello!" I yelled entering a building that was on the verge of falling.
"Help!" I heard a small voice yell. I ran toward the voice. There was a hole in the floor.
"Stay calm!" I yelled as I jumped down into the hole.
"Help" I heard the voice again this time I saw where it came from. A little girl maybe 2 or 3 had her foot trapped under a large bookcase.
"Don't move" I said noticing that even if she moved she would be crushed by the impact of the bookcase. I walked over slowly and grabbed the edge of the shelf. I pushed it up and off her body.
"Crawl out" I said and she quickly crawled out. I dropped the shelf and looked over to see of she was okay, "you alright?"
"My m-momma, I can't find her" she said clearly worried as tears formed in her eyes. I bent down to her height and moved the hair from her pale face.
"Hey everything will be okay. I promise I'll get you out of her safely" I said as she dried her tears.
"Promise?" She asked.
"Cross my heart" I said crossing my heart making her smile and nod her small head. I used my powers to check if she had any injuries.
A broken rib and sprained wrist.
"Alright. I need to get you medical attention" I said picking her up slowly and she cried out in pain.
"Ouch!" She said.
"I'm gonna get you out of here" I said, "what's your name?"
"Anna" she said as I examined the cuts on her face and legs.
"How old are you?" I asked smiling.
"3" she said.
"Wanna see something cool?" I asked and she nodded. I allowed my powers to just fly around us. She looked around a the blue lights. Wanda's powers are red while mine a blue.
"Wow" Anna whispered looking around.
"I'm gonna use my powers to help a great group of people save you and everyone here" I said making her smile.
"So you're a superhero?" She asked.
"I guess you could say that" I said smiling, "now I gotta get you on one of those ships."
"What ships?" She asked.
"Their gonna get you to safety" I said, "and they'll treat your wounds."
"Okay" she said as I picked her up slowly and then ran up the stairs and out of the house. I watched as people ran toward the ships. I picked up Anna and ran over to own that wasn't full yet. I saw a SHIELD agent so I ran over.
"This kid needs medical attention. My name is Madison Maximoff. After she receives medical attention I want to speak with her" I said as the Agent nodded to me.
"Get her some where safe!" I said before speeding off the boat. I helped everyone get more people onto the safe boats as quickly as I could.
"COME ON!" I yelled waving towards the ship and they ran forward.
"Thor I got a plan" Tony said through the ear piece as I speed toward the church where Thor was.
"We're out of time. They're coming for the core" Thor said as I arrived by his side.
"Thor" I nodded to him.
"Lady Madison" Thor said nodding to me.
"Avengers, time to work for a living" Tony said as Pietro, Vision, and Tony joined us in the church. My powers spread through the ground and up towards multiple drones making them fall apart with ease. Steve showed up and smashed a few drones with his shield. Wanda and Clint showed up, me and Pietro ran toward her.
"Are you good?" Pietro asked her.
"Yeah" she said smiling as she placed a hand on Pietro's chest and one on my cheek.
"Romanoff. You and Banner better not be playing "hide the zucchini" Tony said making me laugh.
"Relax, Shellhead. Not all of us can fly" Natasha said. Soon she joined us in the church as well.
"What's the drill?" She asked.
"This is the drill" Tony said pointing at the core, "if Ultron gets a hand on the core, we lose." The Hulk/Bruce also joins us in the church. I looked over to see Ultron slowly appears outside of the church.
"Is that the best you can do?!" Thor yelled as a bunch of Ultron's drones run through the street toward us.
"You had to ask" Steve said.
"This is the best I can do. This is exactly what I wanted, all of you against all of me. How can you possibly hope to stop me?" Ultron asked making me growl. Maybe Tony might get what he wants. To see my dark side.
"Well, like the old man said... Together" Tony said as the hulk roars loudly and the drones run toward us.
"Hey Tony!" I said and he turned towards me, "remember how you wanted to see my dark side?"
"Yeah" Tony said.
"Well how's you chance" I said as I stopped my foot on the ground taking out several drones. My powers circled around in my palms making me smile. I've learned that in Hydra when I felt anger or frustration my hair would turn black and my powers would become a lot stronger. When I was being tested on Baron had made me angry and I ended up killing 5 scientist in the lab. I felt anger boil inside me as my hair slowly turned from its innocent blonde to raven black. I let the circles in my palms combine together into one huge circle. My powers circled around my making my hair blow around as I slowly rose off the ground.
"Bruce isn't the only one with anger issues" I said as I let my powers go on a group of 10 drones destroying them in seconds. I landed on the ground, my breathing heavy. Drones ran toward me but I slammed my foot onto the ground making them fall apart into heaps of metal. Everyone around me continued to fight the drones. I slammed my fist into a drone making it go through it's metal chest.
"Hey Black Beauty!" Tony said.
"What?!" I asked as I ripped apart a drone.
"Nice dark side" Tony said you could basically hear the smirk in his voice. I look at Wanda and she nods to me. We combine our powers together and take put several robots. We were all working as a group. I ran to Pietro and he put his hands down in front of him, cupping them. I put my foot in his hands and then my hands on his shoulders. He launched me into the air and I used my powers to help the Vision and Tony take out the drones that were in the air. It was like everything was in slow motion. We were a team. Ultron began to fight the Vision as me and Tony took out the drones that were flying. The Vision pushed Ultron out of the church with his powers that were created by the gem. Thor used his lighting to help the Vision and soon Tony joined in as well. I joined the group with a smile on my face. I clenched my jaw as I felt my energy drain inside me. I screamed loudly as I continued to use my powers.
"Madison! Stop!" Wanda said to me in my head. I lowered my hands when Tony lowered his and Thor lowered his hammer. Ultron kneeled onto the ground, he let out a groan as he slowly rose to his feet.
"You know, with the benefit of hindsight-" Ultron was cut short of his speech when the Hulk punched him. Hard. Knocking him into the air. Banner turned towards a group of drones and growled at them making them run away in fear. I couldn't help but snicker. But the robots were trying to leave the city.
"They're trying to leave the city!" Thor said.
"We can't let them leave, not even one. Rhodey!" Tony said.
"I'm on it" said Rhodes.
"We got to move out. Even I can tell the air is getting thin. You guys get to the boats. Me and Madison will sweep for stragglers. Be right behind you" Steve said.
"What about the core?" Clint asked.
"I'll protect it" Wanda said looking at Clint and Me, "it's my job." Clint and Nat went the other while I let Steve go ahead. I'd catch up.
"Are you sure Wanda?" I asked as Pietro speed into the church.
"Get the people on the boats" Wanda ordered.
"We're not going to leave you here" Pietro said.
"I can handle this" Wanda said as a drone rushed in and she destroyed it with no problem, "come back for me when everyone else is off, not before." Pietro grunts in annoyance.
"You understand?" Wanda asked.
"You know, I'm 12 minutes older than you" Pietro said making Wanda chuckle.
"Go" she said smiling as he speeds away, "you two, Madison. You have a Captain to help."
"If you need help you know how to reach me" I said before speeding away. I stopped when I reached Steve.
"Get on a boat, Madison" Steve said as he started getting people onto the boats.
"Costel!" a women yelled for her child as both me and Clint see where the child is.
"You stay I'll go" Clint said to me.
"We go together" I said as the two of us ran toward the direction where we saw the kid when we got to the kid Clint slowly picked him up.
"Come on. Time to go" Clint said soothingly to the kid as we both helped the child out of the spot where he was. I turned at the sudden noise of gunshots. A quinnjet was coming right toward us firing bullets every second. The bullets got closer.
"Madison! Duck!" Clint said as we both turned. Clint shielded the kid and me from bullets. There was a fast air that grazed my face just a little bit. Then everything was silent. I felt no pain. My breathing was heavy. Why was it silent. Me and Clint looked at each other for a second. Our breathing heavy. I turned to see there was a car blocking the path of the bullets. I saw that the kid was okay. I turned my head in the direction that Clint was looking. My heart broke at the sight. Pietro with multiple bullet wounds all over him.
"You didn't see that coming?" he said before collapsing to the ground.
"PIETRO!" I screamed and ran to his side. I kneeled down next to him and cupped his pale face in my hands.
"NO! Pietro please!" I said as warm salty tears ran down my cheeks, "no! No! No!" I felt arms wrap around me and lift me off the ground. Steve.
"No! He can't be dead!" I yelled as I tried to wiggle away from Steve but he pulled me into a comforting hug. He rubbed my back slowly trying to calm me. I cried into his chest, my breath shaky. I could feel Wanda's emotions. She was just as upset as I was. Steve checked Pietro's pulse leaving me standing there staring at my older brother. His blue eyes staring at me. I fell to my knees once more crying. Steve picked up Pietro and carried him towards a boat. I followed Steve with tears running down my face. Clint gave the child back to his mother. I sat down beside Steve and he pulled me into a small hug trying to comfort me. I buried my face in his chest as I continued to cry, tears blurring my vision. He rubbed my back soothingly trying to comfort me. My brother was dead. The last of the people boarded the boats.
"Wanda?" I asked but she was no where. Steve looked at me concerned. I got up and ran back off the boat with Steve behind me.
"WANDA?!" I yelled but she was no where. The ground shook and started to go down. Steve grabbed me quickly and jumped onto the boat just in time. I watched as the ground below dropped. My heart skipped a beat as I watched it fall. Steve quickly blocked me from seeing anything. Where was Wanda?! I moved my face so I could see. The floating city exploded into pieces before it hit the ground and pieces fell into the water below. Steve covered my vision once more. I felt tears roll down my dirt stained cheeks. My breathing was heavy. Steve and me scooted away from the edge.
"Come on" he said and helped me up as the boats attached to the large Helicarrier. The people stayed on but me, Steve, and Clint entered into the large Helicarrier.
"We're getting you medical attention" Steve said as we walked slowly through the busy halls. I felt my hair turn back to its innocent blonde.
"MADISON!" I heard someone yell and I turned to see Wanda.
"WANDA!" I screamed and I ran toward her. She engulfed me in a hug and we both began to cry.
"He's gone. Pietro's gone" I said quietly as she rubbed my back. Both of our breaths shaky and heavy.
"I know" she said cupping my face in her hands and she dried my tears with her thumb, "everything will be fine. As long as we have each other." She put her hand on my cheek and I placed my hand on top of hers.
"You're bleeding" she said as I touched my forehead and looked down at my hand to see crimson colored liquid.
"I'm fine" I said as I hugged her once again. Pietro was gone. There was no way of bringing him back.

I'm sorry! The feels😭 I cried while writing this chapter! I don't think I've ever cried this hard while writing a chapter. So emotional!~ Kenlee Faith❤️❤️
