I Miss Him

After receiving medical attention, I hopped off the bed and joined Wanda at the door. I smiled sadly to her as we walked down the halls of the large Helicarrier. I looked into one of the rooms to see Anna getting medical attention. I walked over and knocked on the door.
"Hey Anna" I said smiling sadly. She smiled at me but her smile slowly dropped, "what's wrong?"
"Her parents were never found" the Agent said who was treating her. I felt my heart break at those words. She had no where to go except child services.
"I'll take care of her" Wanda said smiling as Anna dried her tears, "a child deserves her parents."
"Come on, Anna" I said and she hopped off the table and put her small hand in Wanda's. We walked out into the busy hallway and toward the meeting room where all the Avengers were. Natasha smiled at Anna who had her blue eyes locked on Nat. Me and Nat still have a tight bond. No one can break it. I sat beside Natasha and Wanda. I couldn't help but smile when Anna got onto Wanda's lap.
"How you feeling, Maddy?" Steve asked smiling.
"I feel fine" I said.
"We're taking a bird out to the Tower. I got to get the place cleaned up for the party" Tony said.
"Of course there would be a party" Clint said making me laugh a little bit.
"Let's load up" Steve said as we all stood up. Wanda carried Anna as we walked toward the bird that was waiting for us outside. The back door opened and we all walked inside. This would be a fun adventure. I was an Avenger. So was Wanda. If Pietro can see us now I bet he's happy.

We arrived at the tower and I thought if something. I ran inside and over to the area where Pietro had thrown me the blue leather jacket. There on the bench was his jacket he wore all the time. I picked it up and stared at it. It smelled like him. I put on the jacket and hugged myself. I sat down on the bench trying not to cry but I didn't help. I heard someone cough and I looked up to see Natasha. She walked over to me and sat down beside me with a smile.
"He's probably very proud of you" She said with those words escaping her lips I threw myself at my new best friend and hugged her. She tensed at first before she hugged me back. I cried as she rubbed my back.
"Madison, please stop crying" she said drying my tears with her thumb, "I know it's hard when you lose someone and that wound will never heal but don't grieve over it, remember that person in a good way and never forget who your brother was."
"Thank you, Natasha" I said as she hugged me once more.
"I call dibs on doing your hair for the party" she said making me laugh.
"Deal" I said smiling.
"Come on. Let's get you a change of clothes" she said as we got up off the bench and started walked back out of the room and down the long hallway where the elevator was. I was wondering where Bruce was. I hope he's okay. We walked to the elevator and she pushed the button. The doors opened.
"You're room is right near Steve's. Mine is up one level. Wanda is one my level as well. Steve wanted you on his level so if you need him he's right next door. Tony is in the penthouse area. His bedroom is the floor above mine" she said as she pushed the button that had a picture of Steve's shield on it. When the doors opened we walked out of the elevator. There was a small living room and a hallway that lead to three different rooms. My room, Steve's room, and the bathroom. We walked to my bedroom and Natasha opened the door for me. I walked inside as she followed behind me. I sat on the bed as she looked through the closet. She probably picked out most of the clothes to put in there for me. She picked out a nice outfit that I liked. (Outfit above) I put Pietro's jacket on my bed after I was done getting ready. Natasha had already left by the time I stepped out of the bathroom. I walked out of my room and looked around the hallway before bumping into something hard. I looked up to see Steve.
"Hey Maddy" he said as we walked into the small living room together. This would be the start of a fun adventure.
