So this is just a cute little filler chapter about the past.

No One's POV

Christmas, 2007....Thirteen years old

"Merry Christmas my beautifully extended family." Margo's father, Marcus, announced raising up his glass. He looked around the room. All the faces who knew the terrible journey that everyone was going to go through. The children who were the complete opposite. Happy to celebrate yet another Christmas together. "We may not be connected by blood but we will always be there for each other." He was smiling until he looked again at the kids. "Where's Margo?" He seemed to be looking straight at Harry when asking that. Harry stood up and walked towards the door. He put his coat and shoes on and ran out despite his mother yelling after him. It was bad outside. With every step he took he sank more and more into the snow. Only Harry knew where she was. Margo was the only one to use the tree house their whole lives. Even Tia had no interest in it.

"Margo?" Harry yelled climbing the ladder. When he got up he looked into the window to see Margo rapped in a thick blanket.  She looked over her shoulder as he walked over to her. "I'm sorry. The password is screw you Harry." Margo didn't even crack a smile as she turned away from him. "Are you okay?"

"My dad is sick."

"Yeah everyone is. It's Christmas in England."

"Not what i mean." Harry walked over to Margo and sat next to her. It was freezing but Harry didn't care much.

"What do you mean Margo?"

"My dad has Stage 2 lung cancer. I heard our parents talking about it last night. My dad was asking them for support for when he dies. When. Not if."

"I'm sure he'll make it."

"You didn't hear him Harry." Margo snapped at him standing up and going over to her coat putting it on along with her boots. "Possibly the worst thing to happen to me."

"I'll be there when if he doesn't make it. I promise." Harry wrapped his arm around Margo and pulled her to him.

"Good. I'll need you."

3 days before X Factor

Marcus told Harry to come over as soon as Margo left. She needed to get Harry and good luck charm for the show and everything else to come after. Harry didn't even think of how he would feel about seeing him until he was standing in front of the pale and sickened version of the man he'd known his whole life. The father of the girl he's been in love with since he knew what love was. "It's nice to see you." Harry said sitting down across from Marcus.

"I wish you actually meant that." Marcus sounded out of breath. He only has one fully working lung at this point.

"I don't mean to be rude Marcus but why am i here?"

"I have something to ask of you. Not the biggest question to ask but it's the most important request of my life."

"Go ahead."

"Margo loves you Harry. I need you to take care of her when i can't."

"I love her too." There was a long silence before Marcus spoke again.

"Now i have to ask you the hard part."

"What is it?"

"Win the X Factor, become famous and then i want you to do what i know you want to do and make her happy. Give her everything she deserves. Until you can. I want you to leave her alone. She won't heal if you leave the X Factor for her. She'll blame herself then she's just be filled with guilt. What she'll never be able to do with her father. What she would have taken from you. Let her heal and then come back for her."

"I can't just leave her."

"Please?" Harry looked away from Marcus before looking back to him.

"Okay. I'll do everything that you say. It's not that hard. I'll always love her."
