Early the next morning Louis woke up showered and made breakfast when his mother woke up she was surprised to see the smile on his face tying up her robe she shuffled to the island bar and leaned on it her elbows on the table top smiling she said "Morning sweets what's the smile and cakes for, someing happen I don't know bout" but Louis said nothing just smiled and continued his work. His mother lifted her eyebrows and made her mouth into a circle "Oh I get it, secret, so when will I meet'er" at his mother's words his Smile dropped.

"Yeah I know, I am you're mother after all sweets nothing you can hide from me"
Laughing he handed her a plate of pancakes and smiled at her "Her names Sam she's amazing we only talked for a while but she just..Huuuhh I don't know, we met yesterday at the mall on a bench I mean I don't like her or anything she's just really cool I can talk to her can you believe she likes cinnamon and salt on her pretzel and-"
Louis was cut off by his mother's laughter "Awwww don't be in denial Louis, this girl..Sam? She sounds sweet and I see by the way you speak of her she must be " then his mother looked down a sad look washing over her face leaving Louis confused.

Why would she be upset about this "Mom what's what's wrong you look?"

"It's the start soon, the start of the week, today's the last day, Sunday, I use to love this day sitting and reading with you playing games with you just being there"

"Mom, mom no you still love this day don't stop cause of me" Louis had got so caught up in being normal today he had forgot "don't don't do that K its fine, I'll always be here cheer up right now I'm heading to the store I need some cheese for tonight I'm cooking K" lifting her head he smiled to her and handed her a napkin from the table "Ok"

Why's it always so cold in this dame store Louis rubbed his arms trying to warm himself searching the isles for cheese he never really learned the isles because he always went shopping with his mother

"Hey!"
Startled by the sudden voice being pulled out his thoughts Louis spun around to see a familiar dainty face surrounded by deep red hair
"Oh hey" Louis breathed a sigh of relief
"Shopping, funny seeing you here huh?"
"Yeah you following me?"
"Hahh in your dreams gray!"
"Hey Umm can you help me with something where's the cheese I don't really know these isles well, I always shop with mom"

Sam chuckled then racked some hair to the side while bending down to pick up some tissue from the middle of the shelf and placing it in her tote basket
"OK sure, but when we're done you gotta help me" she smirked then skipped away with Louis following close behind.

When all was done Louis helped Sam with her groceries "Thanks" she said smiling at the tall wide eyed boy
"Well I did nothing really" he shoved his hands and cheese deep into his pockets starring down at her ankles "If it wasn't for you I'd still be in that store" they both laughed looking up

"It's getting dark I should head home"
"Yeah, Oh um hey so you maybe....as a friend..wanna go somewhere like a place maybe or something"
"Sure!...Um I mean why not that's what friends do in places they go, there, huh yeah"

They set the time and place then out her car window Sam yelled to Louis "Tell your mom Sam said hi!"
"Will do" whispered Louis starting his car and watching her drive away "Will do"
