Time is something no one can escape.

It delivers us all to the same end.

Wishing won't make it go away.

At least, that's what everyone wants to believe. And that's what I told - or, rather, what I will tell that boy with the Wild Card. But eventually, science is going to bypass the natural laws. And that will be the day humanity dooms itself because suddenly people aren't dying like they're supposed to.
It will be a plague, of sorts. But we won't see it as that. It will be a spectacular achievement until somebody finally speaks.

And I know who will be the one to create what will be known as the Mortality Vaccine.

He will kill ten rabbits before the eleventh test subject will last more than ten days, and lives for thirty years. At this point, he will pass it to his son after beginning the human testing without license or permission. The entire operation will move underground, and as the third generation scientist takes over for his father, the test subject - 'vaccinated' at age 10 - will be 45. They all retire promptly at age seventy, passing on the torch to twenty-year-old sons, and slowly they will rack up a set of five subjects, all different ages and 'races,' if such thing exists outside societal definitions. Four of the five escape and are reported dead. The final subject will live to 175, and they will report the average death age under the Mortality Vaccine to be 175. Much information will have already been gathered, however, and the four are never recovered.

At age twenty-five, they mysteriously stop aging. Any person 'vaccinated' after that age immediately stops aging. However, their hair goes prematurely white, and they develop strange abilities; these abilities vary slightly from person to person, but the most powerful was the first '25+' person vaccinated.

And somehow, all of this took place before the year 2009 AD.

The Velvet Room is a product of Igor's startling abilities due to the vaccination he received over 200 years ago. Time passes unlike any other place in the Velvet Room, so despite the limit, Igor was practically immortal.

Elizabeth, Theodore, and Margaret were similar; when, during the period when Margaret and her guest suddenly met the younger sibling's guest in a twisted version of Yasogami High, the Velvet Room mysteriously transformed to a stationary space rather than the ever-moving form, it was believed to be either because Igor was not present, which destabilized the room's very existence, or the sibling's own space-warping abilities manifesting. This confused all of them, as Elizabeth's guests were from 2009 AD. At the same time, Margaret's guests, from the year 2011 AD, were from a different world where the world of Shadows was locked away. A simple explanation can be provided.

The 'Dark Hour,' once a terrible time that presided over humanity, now existed within the 'Midnight Channel,' which only Persona users could journey safely into and throughout. When Elizabeth's guest sealed Nyx, they merely created a new world for Tartarus. However, this new world was much changed from the original. Some Shadows developed human-like egos, similar to the Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapons; others were a manifestation of a person's inner turmoils.

Do you see, now? Humanity believes time can save them. It heals all wounds, and saves all people. Yet it also eventually takes even the greatest of heroes eventually. No one can help the effects of time.

That's just fine to believe. But know that there are immortals out there who play by their own rules. There are monsters out there who will not hesitate to grab you from the shadows.

You are never truly safe.
