No school. That was all that Jade could possibly think of. Technically, today would of been the last day before summer, but she, being Jade, decided to not go in.

Jade was sat at home, with a My Chemical Romance shirt on, tucked into a black skirt, topped with knee socks. On top of all that, her hair was messily scrunched into two alien buns on the top of her head.

But, boredom was definitely washing the young girl away. As was the urge to re-dye her hair. Now, it was black, but the idea of pastel purple induced her.

After multiple hours of playing Batman... Yes, Jade enjoyed sitting in and playing batman. She left the house, with black Dr Martens finishing her look off.

Jade immediately headed straight for the store, in search of a pastel purple hair dye. Basically, it was a journey of "ew look at this person" and "fuck this place doesn't have the dye I was looking for"

After long searching sessions for a pastel purple dye, and successfully finding it, Jade had returned home. You would think that she would put the dye straight into her hair but no. Again, this is Jade. Jade would somehow find a distraction and go and do something else. The distraction this time being her best-friend, Alex ringing her.

"HELLO." Alex' loud, hyperactive voice boomed down the line.

Jade was taken back by the volume by the hyperactivity of Alex and stuttered on her initial reply. "H...h... God Kay, why'd you shout so loud and what on gods green earth do you want?"

"I just wanted to see what you were up to" Alex said, feeling a little disappointed.

"I'm sorry for being harsh - I'm currently about 30 seconds away from dying my hair." Jade knew she'd regret that from the second it left her mouth because Alex loved hair dye.

"OH MY... Can I come and help you!?" Alex got excited again, but quickly sorted herself out.

Jade grunted an exhausted reply "sure..."

And that pretty much is the story of how Alex ended up hands deep in purple dye, with her hands massaging the dye into Jade's head whilst Jade just scrolled through her phone, presumably on Twitter or Tumblr, where she spent most of her life.

Alex complained. Something about getting her new flowery shirt wrecked. Jade thought to herself that if she volunteered to help, it's her own fault for the consequences.

Whilst scrolling down the depths of Twitter, a certain guy had been retweeted onto her feed for a small snippet of him singing. After a few minutes of searching the guys Twitter, all was revealed.

His name was Levi, he could play drums, and had a surprisingly good voice for somebody into rock music.

Jade was usually apprehensive about tweeting people out of the blue, because of public opinion.  Regardless of what she usually though, she tweeted Levi straight away simply saying "Hey". How awkward she thought, mentally scolding herself for being so damn awkward. However, the tweet had been sent and Jade didn't want to just delete it. It was there forever now.
