A couple hours later, I already was driving home after giving Nathalie a ride, and was surprised my mom didn't call me since it was already about 7:30. I looked back down to my sweatshirt that I later on put on since it got cold, and stared at the brown stain that was permininent at the middle. I should've slapped that guy after what he did, I mean talk about rude, and didn't his parents teach him to say sorry when dropping tea on a girl's sweatshirt. I can't believe I just froze there, like literally froze in my place. Stupid, stupid, stupid, I thought while driving into the drive threw and trudging to the front door.

Walking into the house I overheard loud laughing from the living room as my feet paced to that direction, I removed the right earphone bud before walking into the room staring at my mom's gleeful expression with a woman the same age copying the same look. The woman had such dark hair I was surprised she didn't have any grey hairs showing, wrinkles and blackness under her eyes were evident as she smiled at my mom, but her lips pale as white.

"Oh honey your back!" she exclaimed happily while clapping her hands lightly, "This is Macy the woman I talked to you about, Macy this is my daughter Blake," My mom introduced us before the woman gave me a warm smile.

What- as far as I remember this woman Macy was supposed to be here next week, and as pissed as I am of having a random stranger live with us I let that aside when I looked at how happy my mom is of having her around.

"Hello Bailey its so nice to finally meet you," She said before coming towards me to give me a quick hug, "Oh you look just like your mother," She exclaimed when she let go of me and stared at my face, she seemed so happy it seemed like she was about to jump of the roof.

"Its Blake," I said as nicely as possible with a small smile.

"Oh I'm sorry, how embarrassing," she softly giggled, "Well would you like to join us Blake?"

"No thanks, I've got some work to finish,"

"Well we'll be down here if you need anything honey," My mom stated, "Oh and will you make sure the guest room across your room is tidy? Macy's son will be sleeping there," She stated while they casually sat back down on the couches.

"Ethan must be here any minute, why is he so late? Oh you guys are going to get a long so well," she stated excitedly, I smiled at her before walking away with a sigh putting back the right bud of my earphones back into my ear, this day cant get any better, mark my sarcasm.

My mom and Macy were so loud I could here them from the kitchen as I played the song "Daughter-Human" and opened the fridge to find something to eat. My stomach was growling, so when I spotted the remaining pasta from dinner I rushed to the microwave with a bowl of pasta in my hand and pushed it in for 2 minutes. While I waited for the food to heat up I bobbed my head up and down while listening to the comforting song alone in the kitchen.

When the light of the microwave signaled that the pasta was ready I pulled out the pasta from the microwave, and before I could turn around to get a fork I felt an unexpected tap of a hand on my shoulder. Before I knew it the glass bowl crashed on the floor and was so startled that I shot up with a loud shriek.

"Woah calm down," A male voice was barely heard behind me since my earphones were still plugged in my ears.

"Ugh look what you did!" I almost yelled before turning around to see who almost gave me a heart attack.

I stood frozen, again, when I glanced back at the same piercing blue eyes I saw a couple hours ago. Wait what?! This cant be happening, this certainly cant be happening, is this some kind of joke? His expression soon faltered from pissed to surprise in a snap, it looked like he was about to jump out of the window; trust me I wanted to do the same thing.

He slowly examined my stunned and yet unmoved expression, then came out his signature smirk that I already witnessed at the café.

"We should stop meeting like this coffee girl," he asked with a hint of humor.

I almost laughed, not at what he said but having this infuriating person in this room right now in front of me, how is it even possible? His smirk slowly faded into a scowl and I returned the same expression before kneeling down to pick up the pieces of glass.

When the room was silent for a couple of seconds I thought he already ignored my speechless state but instead, I was surprised when he knelt next to me to help me pick up the pieces.

"Thanks," I said after we cleaned up the mess on the floor which I was surprised my mom didn't hear, probably too caught up with her 'friend'.

"So you talk," He said with a grin.

"Doesn't mean were friends," I exclaimed while walking to the sink to wash my hands dirty with tomato sauce.

"But I guess were roommates,"

"You're going to have your own room," I replied with a hushed, dry voice.

"Well that sucks," He said sarcastically

I just ignored him and walked towards the fridge to find something else to eat, and when I found some left over pizza I ordered yesterday I felt his presence still behind me.

I coughed to ease the tension and turned around with the plate of pizza, "so..What are you still doing here," I said lowly, while walking back to the microwave; his presence in this room starting to make me feel uncomfortable.

"Well I wanted to meet the girl my mother wanted me to meet so badly, but I guess she already hates me," He stated, and searched for any reply in my silent expression, "Look I'm sorry if I was an ass at the café, I wasn't at the best mood. Especially after my mom told me 3 days ago that I'm going to be living at some strangers house, I didn't mean to scare you in any way"

It took me off guard when he started to sound so genuine, where an hour ago he was yelling at me for something I didn't do. His change of character made it hard for me to hear the beeping noise of the microwave, which Ethan then opened for me.

"O- oh," I stuttered from the proximity that was held between us, before grabbing the plate of pizza and closing the microwave as fast as I could to keep some distance, I coughed again, cause the tension right now was not real, "Well.. I'll be in my room if you need anything,"

"I'm Ethan," He stated before I left the kitchen.

"Blake,"
