Day 4:

A day has past and I tried to ignore Ethan as much as possible, not because I hate his guts, but because every time we do encounter each other I get to embarrass myself, or leave an awkward tension roaming the air that leaves me stuttering and looking stupid. So I'd rather not.

My mom forced me to have breakfast with Macy and Ethan this morning since she was busy at work, yes work on Sundays. I kept the discussions short and dull, while the voices of the forks and knives clanked on the glass plates.

"So how schools going?" Macy would ask.

"Good," I would answer.

"Good, um ... do you have any friends?"

"I guess," I laughed at my answer, more like one.

"Oh you should introduce them to Ethan tomorrow, yeah?" she asked, emphasizing the last word towards Ethan before he grimaced at the thought of meeting my 'friends', I smiled at his humor while chewing on the third pancake, though his fiddling with his brow piercing has me staring at his godly appearance.

"Uh yeah, sure," I said, my stupid smile still plastered on my face, looks like Ethan doesn't like being in the center of attention either, "I'm sure Ethan would love to meet all of my many many friends, maybe... he can join the book club with me too," I lied but proud I didn't stutter in the middle of my sentence. I almost laughed to my own joke; this is how lame I am. Don't worry we don't have book clubs in school.

Ethan noticed the sarcasm in my sentence and instead of giving me a death glare he returned a smile with a shake of his head, "So what are your friends names?" Ethan asked, talking for the first time since we sat on the table.

Macy's smile was so wide from noticing our "cute" conversation, where I wouldn't be surprised if Ethan actually wanted to choke me to death.

"There's Nathalie," I stated the obvious, "and there's... Bart ... Laaar—ry, m-Michel, and ... Stacy," I made up, but the pauses between each name made it noticeable that they were fake, well only to Ethan, Macy was nodding with great interest. I found it so funny how lost Macy was from the fake conversation that was continuing between Ethan and I but stopped myself from chuckling out loud.

"Well I'll make sure I'll get my book with me tomorrow, to join the ... book club with your..," he stated then coughed before saying the last word, "Friends," The hint of sarcasm evident in his sentence.

"Great," I nodded with a smile and continued chewing on my almost done pancake, "I'm going back to my room; leave you guys alone for a mother son time," I stated with a smile while pouring myself some more coffee. He raised his eyebrows after noticing what I said; I rushed out the kitchen door before he said any other remark with the hot drink in my hand.

I planned to take a shower before going to the library that day; I placed my playlist on shuffle before stepping into the hot shower, letting the water to trickle down my back. Having five songs already played, I then wrapped myself in a towel and stepped out of the bathroom. Staring at the already cold coffee on the table stand, I then walked to my closet and picked up some black leggings with an oversized sweatshirt and placed them on my bed. When pulling on some underwear and a bra I was about to reach for the clothes on the bed before I heard the door creak open and a dark voice speaking from the other side.

"Hey can I have my book back for a – shit," He started to say but froze when he noticed my half naked figure and my loud shriek, his eyes never leaving my body.

"Leave you idiot!" I yelled, retrieving the towel from the floor and trying to cover my self as much as possible.

"Oh – um," He stuttered before he turned and closed the door again, and I stood back to my feet with a big sigh.
