The Traitor's Wish
Chapter 17
The Serpent's SwirlThe news from Grand Pabi was disturbing for Emma. She had just been saved by Killian, rescued from her injuries by magic and awoken in a perfect place: his arms, but now she looked at the big picture, and his life was hanging in the balance. Some unknown thing was after him, and she didn't know how to protect him. The thought of something dragging him away, it killed her. She could not let it happen, she would not. He found her, and she wasn't letting him out of her sight any time soon.
Emma begged Grand Pabi for details. She pressed on, wishing to know how to stop it. But alas, he knew nothing more. Emma held to Killian solemnly as they departed from the island of Arendale, waving goodbye to Anna, Kristoff, and Grand Pabi.
"What do you think he meant, an ancient darkness?" Emma gazed up at his blue eyes, seeking comfort.
"I don't know, love. But I've heard many a tale of sea creatures. We'll sit down with a few of the crew tonight and see what we can come up with." He squeezed her hand protectively. "Whatever it is will have to put up a hell of a fight to take down Captain Killian Hook Jones." He said, raising the shining, silver crook.
"I thought everything was going to be all right for a moment." She held on to the lapels of his coat. Eyes of the crew lingered on them. They were unsure of her presence, making Emma uncomfortable around them. Killian knew she wouldn't be affectionate in front of the lot of them, but he was hesitant to be alone with her. This was the real him, what if she didn't like it?
As if she read his thoughts, Emma stood in the tips of her toes, and brushed his cheek with a kiss. Pink rushed to her face, and she turned, going down the steps away from the crew's prying eyes.
Killian sighed, running a hand through his messy hair. He turned to the wheel, steering them out of the bay. He needed to clear his mind. Emma was on the very ship as him, he should be happy. The night he had left her, he asked her to come with him, to run away to his ship, but he'd never imagined it all to turn out like this.
He wanted her to have more then this life. It was greedy to ask her in the first place, he knew that. Now she was here because of a rescue, and he would have to take her home, to the castle, a place he'd been disgraced from. A place he could not stay. A place he could never belong.

The clump of flesh was everything Rumplestiltskin could hope for. It was all he needed to concoct his revenge, and it had just fallen into his hands without a second thought from the owner of it. This hand held the very spirit of the pirate Captain in it, all because of one object.
A green knotted bracelet.
Rumple could already feel the physical magic pulsing through the rope. It was a type of power he had yet to deal with: love. With this one token, he could call any death he wished upon his enemy.
But no, he would not settle for just any death. If the bracelet's magic was as strong as he hoped, he would summon the darkest creature to ever live of this world, of any world. If only the bracelet is strong enough. The chance that it is not, is very high. It clearly holds his love inside of it, but if that love is true or not, Rumple will soon find out.
The Dark One was in his castle again, stirring up the potion that would end his enemies in a form worse then death.
His potions glistened ominously in the last rays of daylight. They were beautiful to him. These spells were his power, the only thing he loved other then his son. But his son was gone, ripped away from him by that dreaded pirate. Rumple shook with fury as he poured a jet black, oily potion. This would destroy the pirate once and for all. No more sailing, no more stealing things away from him, and no more love. And his passing would be oh so painful.
